- From the perspective of supervisors to technicians and specialists, these hard-working Forest Service employees give you their side of working on the largest forest in the national forest system. From district rangers and geologists, to recreation managers and wilderness kayak rangers, you see a perspective of the Tongass from a different point of view. *Some of these employees have since moved on to other positions within the Forest Service since this was produced in 2006 and 2007.

Tonga forest is the biggest forest in USA, its a tropical rain forest and it should be taken carefully well, because trees are the lungs of planet earth and also the symbol of planet earth, in fact they should plant another trees inside the forest ,( RE Afforestation ) because Forest's in the world are decreasing by a huge big number
The same land forest grab and abuse is in full sing in Massachusetts, industrial strength. With timber shipped to Cananda.for processing.

I feel a sadness deep into my soul when i see them cutting the timber and turn around and say they need to manage the forest that has been there for thousands of yours. It shows me the greed and the extent they will go to take and take and take until it is all gone., and then they turn around and blame it on global warming from the people,and then shutting us out of whats left by putting gates all over in our forest i mean come on do you really think the people do see this. .SAD SAD SAD. Don,t they know that the trees filter and create oxygen and keep the earth cool. I believe they do know this. But that old greed pushes right in and takes. You want to get the people interest? STOP cutting our forest and stay the hell out of there period.
go somewhere, where it's actually all gone. There are places in the world where all of the trees are gone.
