Presenting you Crompton's Power Saving Induction motor ceiling fan which was a BEE 5 Star rated fan from 2013-2019. Now the same fan has been degraded to 1 star due to the arrival of Crompton Energion HS, JURA, AURA BLDC range which is now aquiring the 5 star category.
Still now, Crompton HS Plus having the same specifications as of 2013 with 5 star vs 2020 1 star. Nothing much.

The star rating is decided by the BEE and not by the manufacturer. It is reviewed every two years with some changes in accordance with the latest technologies available in the market. The new standard is influenced by the widespread availability of BLDC fans, causing non-bldc fans to get a lower star.
One of my Usha fans in my house were running slow with old capacitor, then it got replaced with new capacitor and is working really well.

Nice! Relite Rapide MKII 900 mm has a 1.6 Mfd capacitor, and a 14 pole stator, which apparently is compatible with 1200 and 1400 mm. I think it is just the capacitor that changes between the sizes, although I haven't yet got a 1200 mm Relite, so I cannot confirm the capacitor value. What is also similar to Relite is the earth wire fixed to the shaft.
Every day that goes by, the more evidence that Relite Rapide MKII was made by Crompton crops up!

@@SOURADEEPBISWAS normal HS groove has been really enlarged to a large extent and it has a really big groove area , so it doesn't gain more speed , whereas in this blade there is no groove and no more bend , so this blade easily allows the fan to rotate faster
If I put HB blade with less blade groove on my HS , it will have more RPM
HB HAVE MORE SHANK ANGLES THATS WHY EVEN HB DONT HAVE GROOVE, HB HAVE A HUGE CURVE & SHANK ANGLE WHICH IF U PUT IN AN HS MOTOR WILL BEHAVE AS 16POLE 320RPM EVEN WITH 12P MOTOR OF HS.

I think they wanted us remember high breeze with slightly thick motor and HB blades with extra features
They didn't want to make special shackle for HS+ just to remove earth screw so they gave existing shackle
Sir, yesterday i teared opened the fan motor and it has 14+14 pole winding coil. And thats why i thought that it was not crossing more than 380 rpm
When i tried in my bethora product high speed DECORA the fan was way so fast like 42inch highspeed with oilfilled capacitor. And the strope is at more than 380 rpmmoving anticlock wise direction slowly
And with my solan product highspeed it was way so faster than i tried in my decora. And the speed of my fan is more than 385 rpm and the strope is moving anticlock wise directon fastly like Crompton 36 inch fan
When i try highspeed plus with highspeed bladesets it was correctly running at 370rpm, but the problem is when i set the fan at the 4th speed it makes too much humming noise and the speed at 4 th speed is like the speed of highbreeze
The bladesets of this fan is matching exact same with highbreeze bladeset.
HS+ till 2021 was 12pole
HS+ after 2021 was 14pole
HS, Aura, every 48" was 12p before 1star
Now all 14pole in 1 star.
HS56 was 14p. Now it's thick 14p. Aura jura also thick 14p now on 1star.
A bit less than HS but still awesome as it's energy saving 😉

Which power saving fan is good? HS Plus or Energion HS?
I personally prefer HS+ as induction motor but E.HS is a better savings + remote usage features

Sometimes it's hard to connect earthing to the shackle , so they gave earthing below so that the earth wire can be connected directly to leads

Sir, if you put these HS plus bladesets in highspeed, it would be more faster than HS+. BCZ i had just replaced the bladesets for highbreeze so i just removed and showed to the shopkeeper and he carryed the HS+ bladesets and after i got the bladesets i firse tried in my highbreeze , and it was same airflow as the old bladesets and i decided to try in my highspeed and it was way so fast than its bladesets and the airflow is ok but good

Crompton energion bldc vs Crompton hs plus . Which is better for longevity? Bcs I returned atomberg bldc due to sound issues and pcb Quality.
U may go for Crompton Energion HS as it's only 35W. It have no such noises & PCB is really good with metal motor & All direction remote. No regulator required in BLDC so no humming here. Also 5 years warranty.
HS Plus is 53W fan but if u use electronic regulator then it will make slight humming sound as of normal induction motor fans. This is normal 2 years warranty.
Energion HS is ₹2700 whereas HS plus is ₹1800.
Airflow of both almost same. It's upto u.

@sai pavan Yes actually Crompton Products are build to last! I am not talking about below Rs.1500 fans of crompton (neo breeze,superbriz,hillbriz,super air,sea wind). Those are waste. But at a premium category, Crompton is King since British Era.

No it's absolutely fine as this HS + model is a normal ac motor fan. Not a BLDC fan.
But sometimes high speed not tolerate for my parents...

I totally have 6 HS. HS24,36,42,48,56 all of 2010 model & this is 1st Crompton logo HS that I got. Previous 4 HS (36-56) are [CG] logo & HS24 is Crompton Greaves Ltd. logo. Also adding up the HSD 48 so, total HS population is 7

The only problem with the 1.6 mfd capacitor is that it will be harder to find a replacement.
Exactly. If we put 2.0 then wattage will increase to 60W & if we reduce capacitor to 1.5 then performance will slightly degrade
@@SOURADEEPBISWAS The Relite Rapide MKII of my room, having 1.6 Mfd, now operates with a 1.5 Mfd capacitor. I would not risk a 2 Mfd capacitor, as I am afraid it might overheat and burn the motor out!

খারাপ হলে পার্টস চেঞ্জ করতে কি খুব সমস্যা হবে?
না কোন সমস্যা নেই। এটা Normal Ceiling পাখা। এটা 12 coil motor আছে 1.6mfd Condensor lagano. সাধারণ Ceiling পাখার মতো Winding Coil এটাতে আছে। খুব HEAVY DUTY winding আছে এটাতে।

হ্যা এটা ৫৩ ওয়াট বিদ্যুৎ নেয়। BLDC পাখার তুলনায় এই Crompton HS Plus খুব HEAVY DUTY motor. হাওয়া আর Speed অনেক বেশি (390RPM) BLDC এর তুলনায়। আর সারা রাত ধরে চালালেও motor গরম হয় না।
এটাতে Electronic Circuit নেই সেই জন্য খারাপ হবার কোন ভয় নেই আর Parts এর কোন সেরকম খরচা নেই।
