I have a Jackson DKMGT (Japan with Fishman pickups) and very satisfied. However, the main reason why I'm so interested about the guitar you reviewed, is that the volume is NOT close to the pickup and the bridge! I never understood why so many companies place the volume so close. Plus, it comes with fantastic pickups and the shape is great.
Crazy strumming patterns. That is a monstrous looking guitar, probably my favorite shape. Sounds great, and you right hand picking technique is somewhere in M. Friedman territory. Rock on, Mr Coffee 🎸

Sorry man, i'll NEVER buy a guitar with a Floyd Rose Special... I've talked to FR and you cannot even upgrade that thing at all. It's a dead guitar or you will end up replacing that FR special. Sadly I won't buy jackson anymore. They have just gone to shit compared to their 90's built guitars. China personally just does a crap job in my opinion.
Yes, you can upgrade FRS, the base plate is OK there is a many parts on the market, stainless steel saddles titanium screws and inserts... etc... All this things are cheaper than original FR and after upgrade much stronger. Just look for a parts 6 stainless steel saddles cost 20$ and all parts 36$
best jacksons besides usa are mij 2000s better than 90s mij in my opinion, just barely, most people who think they have 90s Jacksons dont even know they actually have a 2000s jackson thanks to that stupid way wrong omline serial number decoder and idiots who think the year is in the serial number the year is in the neck pocket on neck and body
Ya I just got mine in and the paint job was terrible and fret buzz was also terrible and I ordered a case with it and they sent me a kids case lololol what a joke
@@BurningSunday got it made right from fender ordered it from long&mcquades the paint was not done well either they did give me a new case . I was disappointed in the paint job and how long it took to actually get the guitar it’s was 7 months.
@@AdolfHitler-lp4je Wow man so sorry to hear that. I have only had one bad experience when ordering a guitar and the box got smashed and the guitar was destroyed.. I was so bummed. But they sent me another one out and made up for it.

i take the volume knobs off or wedge something under the knob so it doesnt turn easilly

my only problem is that the guitar has no volute on the neck:( it would have been the perfect guitar
I have never had a Jackson or Charvel neck break like I have had on Gibson

I have this guitar and it work amazing for the first few times but the floyd rose went to crap and I ending up spending twice as for it now

You can upgrade the Special I have also done upgrade on them just because I wanted to. Saddles, Lock Screws, Blocks Ect.
