Demonstration of Dayton 6A489 Bandsaw Blade Welder with Automatic Annealing

In this video I demonstrate one of the unique features of my older (1991) Dayton 6A489 bandsaw blade welder. The units with the same model number currently available are quite different from my older one. Mine has two power ranges and automatic annealing. I don’t know of any other units that have automatic annealing.

Very good video. I have a fully manual blade welder. At 10:25 the video shows what I need to learn to do manually to anneal. Seeing the weld color and simultaneously hearing the pulse rate is very instructive. Thanks.
