I do not own the orville or any of the characters. It is the property of FOX and Seth Macfarlane. After opening a time capsule, Bortus finds a cigarette and shows Klyden. They decide to try smoking.
What's hilarious is that when most people smoke cigarettes for the first time they cough and sputter like crazy because they're not used to inhaling smoke. But because the Moclans have such a hardy and tough digestive system, it seems like they are able to smoke cigarettes for the first time with ease.
Tbh, if we ever get into space proper, as in other star systems, and make contact with understandable alien life, Spices and Cultural Goods would be excellent items to trade.
@@Gothic7876 it’d be the only things worth trading anything else would be easier to get from Uninhabited planets or asteroids be it diamonds or water or etc.
Moclan physiology is really hardy, so they might not be negatively affected. But while nicotine is highly addictive, it doesn't cause cancer or other ailments. That's from all the other crap in cigarettes.
I feel as if i have been standing my entire life, and I just sat down. What a great analogy for things
great analogy for your first nicotine buzz :)
OMG this has got to be the best episode.
Legit the best scene ever. Klydens face is just priceless 🤣🤣🤣
Oh god its like watching a multiple car pile-up consisting of clown cars. Both hilarious and horrifying at the same time.
I lost it @ "500 cigarettes" xD
I choked on my cig at the time
Hahaha :))
Five..hundred..ciggarets
I think you lost it there because that's where the video ends
The sudden appearance of a massive neat stack of ciggs is what makes the joke.

They are also likely to be unaffected by the negative side effects. Like Cancer.
Now there's a market Big Tobacco would drool to access.
how to defeat aliens? don't give them your germs, give them your drugs!

Fun Fact
There are only 463 cigarettes on the replicator.

Seriously?! 🤣
The production team had to have known that pedantic people on the Internet were going to count them.
0:28 Is he using a blaster to lit his cigarette?
He is. Most likely using the thermal setting, however that’s accessed.
I wonder what would happen to them if that were marijuana.
KLYDEN..pass..the..blunt
Knowing pattern of how moclans react to stuff like this. They’d probably get the munchies and start eating the coffee table or something
Moclans on weed? That would be interesting.
Moclans are supossedly highly sensitive of Nicotine addiction...
i never noticed this before but i love the callback to the scene where they revealed moclans can eat pretty much anything
I wish they tried cigars to in that episode to.
Whenever the Moclans try something, it's always ended up so funny.
Edit: Wait, wait. Not always...
Me after a beer and a bong
I swear to god. Never seen a first timer smoke like this two 🤣🤣
Welcome to flavor country
Theyd lose their shit if they had tried weed lol
Me when I'm drunk lulz
Perfect show to watch on acid
The irony when everyone is smoking in ST Picard
I lolled hard
They should try cannabis next🤣
I wonder how they’d handle cocaine.
Considering the general hardiness of the Moclans, they would probably be unaffected by the negatives.
@@Gothic7876 Except addiction.
Why show is this?
The Orville. An absolute amazing piece of Sci-if that harkens back to older Star Trek, with just the right amount of action.
I wonder if Doctor Fin told them that nicotine iis highly addictive and causes cancer and death.
