The sudden appearance of a massive neat stack of ciggs is what makes the joke.
What's hilarious is that when most people smoke cigarettes for the first time they cough and sputter like crazy because they're not used to inhaling smoke. But because the Moclans have such a hardy and tough digestive system, it seems like they are able to smoke cigarettes for the first time with ease.
They are also likely to be unaffected by the negative side effects. Like Cancer.
Now there's a market Big Tobacco would drool to access.

Tbh, if we ever get into space proper, as in other star systems, and make contact with understandable alien life, Spices and Cultural Goods would be excellent items to trade.

Moclan physiology is really hardy, so they might not be negatively affected. But while nicotine is highly addictive, it doesn't cause cancer or other ailments. That's from all the other crap in cigarettes.
