Please make a future video on how to properly fill the gearbox with oil and other fluids needed. You have one already for the engine oil. Time to make a couple more on the other fluids. Many people have been inquiring. thanks.
That bike would be a great start for a build I owned a 69 t150 T in the same color called Aqua Marine and put many miles on it . I feel like I did two very good modifications that really improved the bike , 5 speed conversion.from a donor engine (late build 1973) and an excellent Tri-spark ignition module . 5 speed helped acceleration and the tri -spark made it idle and run smoother, Good Luck with the auction, Jimi
The original side covers are steel and pretty much "unoptanium" as the expression goes. Since this vid is 7 months old, I'm guessing whoever bought the bike might still be looking for them. You keep referring to the bike as a '68 model. The T150 was introduced in 1969, same year as the Honda 750 Four and, incidentally, the BSA Rocket3, and the Kawasaki Mach 1. Had Triumph/BSA hit the market in '68 with their triples then maybe the 1st year sales would have been better. In 1969, the Honda CB750 pretty much stole all the thunder from the British triples. p.s. Did Triumph fit the '68 front brake to theor '69 models? ...not sure about that.
