What was the guy suppose to do, not block for his teammate. The second foul may have been after the whistle and thus justified (hard to tell from this video), but the first foul??? If QBs are such sacred cows they need to have different color jersey's and not be allowed to play defense on INTs and fumble returns Clearly I just don't get it.
That was some of the worst QB play I have ever seen from Temple. Not to take anything away from OU’s defense, but I didn’t feel like they even had to try with him. Respect from a Vols fan, GBO

@@andersonblue6729 "yalls defense finally looks like what our defenses do" who's? OU's or the Big12's? both? OU went out and did about what was expected so that's good. Also, a lot of those losses were against non Div. 1 teams but Temple needs to drop out of Div. one.

Oklahoma is a completely different program than 3 years ago. They've recruited great on defense and are going to make some noise despite the brutal schedule
Whoever made the decision that QB JA did not make first down, trying to halt first drive, needs to be FIRED. The announcers and everyone else saw it was clearly a first down.
Grades - Defense A+, Offense C, Special Teams A. Defense looked really good, like you should against a team like Temple. What I liked most was getting to the QB, that's going to be the difference between a OK Defense, and a great one. Spiecal Teams, Kicker looked good, Punter did well. The Long Snaper and Holder got to get on the same page, didn't cost them anything in this game, but will eventually if not corrected. Offense - was up and down, started hot, both the starting Center and Farooq going down early hurt a lot. Burkes is a superstar, but will he have help? Especially with Farooq being out for maybe 2 months, you need to some young guys to step up. The OLine is a problem, especially at RT. The starter tonight Spencer Brown was awful, and from now own, I want to see every single Freshman play Guard, before Brown ever sees the field again, he needs to be the very last resort. I actually thought the younger guys got a good push in the fourth quarter, like your supposed to do against Temple. Tatum looks like the real deal. Now with Farooq gone, OU definitely has to rune a lot of 2 TEs and 2 RBs sets. And Tatum is an excellent at catching the ball. That needs to become a bigger part of the Offense. You have a few weeks to try and fix this OLine, if you can't by Tennessee, it's going to be a rough day.
SEC gatekeepers lmao 😂 chill guys it's just a conference. We know the teams are better but OU isn't a cakewalk either. Any team could lose to OU. The same applies to OU as well they could lose to anyone.
2 shoulder bumps and he gets 30 yards in penalties. They were in the path of the interception return so they should be fair game. If they can't get hit then they should clear the field so they don't get confused with a potential tackler.
Sec will always be a quality conference. But I can promise you the majority of the sec will bow to Oklahoma as they will run through the conference like a hot knife through butter. Don’t be mistaken if you fear Texas you better fear Oklahoma, the same Oklahoma who has rocked Texas and the big 12 for more conference championships than all the big 12 teams including Texas combined. Don’t be fooled, Oklahoma has tore through most sec teams too. Oklahoma will likely maybe lose a game but unlikely to lose 2 or more. They shrink to less competition as they are their worst enemy but in the sec they don’t have to worry about that. I expect them to win the conference.
Lets be patient on the offensive line, brand new o lines can absolutely completely transform over the year. Im digging Venables style though, THIS is the style ball that can win you Nattys at some point, not Lincoln Rileys pretty and soft, no defense system.
The trenches on offense may be a tough year, the defense though looked very good regardless of the level of competition, forcing 5 turnovers against anyone is impressive. Are the PAT and FG squads different? The FGs looked good (big time in SEC) but the PAT holds and kicks looked shaky. Tulane and Houston coming up are nothing to scoff at, defense needs to keep hitting hard while the offense gets some reps
OU defense is what will make them acclimate to the SEC very nicely. Brent V was a great long-term hire for this reason

OU looks bigger and more physical than we have in almost decades. Especially on D!!
What a game for Oklahoma!
Oklahoma is a completely different program than 3 years ago. They've recruited great on defense and are going to make some noise despite the brutal schedule
As Texas fan can’t wait for another red river rivalry expect to get our get back 🤘
It's looking that way, unfortunately.. Our offense is going to be dookie this year.
We will expect nothing, Sir. See you real soon 😏
With the current sec it’s be almost impossible for any team to go undefeated. Still 5-7 teams have a chance every year
Im tellin yall right now ..with that o line its gonna be a looooong night against tennessee and other sec opponents
Whoever made the decision that QB JA did not make first down, trying to halt first drive, needs to be FIRED. The announcers and everyone else saw it was clearly a first down.
Ive seen enough. Arnold new Tom Brady.
8:25 what a call from the announcer
Every Temple Offensive QB, RB, & WR should have to carry a football around with them the whole week. There is NO excuse for so many fumbles.
sooners are going to learn real soon in the SEC
Well yeah they have the toughest schedule in the country lol
@@mith2946 they have the 3rd toughest schedule. Florida has the toughest one.
Atleast they are in the best conference. Chosen for a reason along with Texas. Big time teams
Might want to check the records lol
@@ohsnapitsbilly3200we have the toughest we play 6 out of the top 15 teams lol
We're going to lose a lot of football games, unfortunately.
Our O-line is screwed, among several other things on offense.
SEC gatekeepers lmao 😂 chill guys it's just a conference. We know the teams are better but OU isn't a cakewalk either. Any team could lose to OU. The same applies to OU as well they could lose to anyone.
Thank you. Someone with a brain
They are going to have serious problems with good pass rushing teams.
11:11 ill never forget this waterboy moment right here.. get this guy a scholarship!
Your saying a mouthful but it needs to be SEEN
Lets be patient on the offensive line, brand new o lines can absolutely completely transform over the year. Im digging Venables style though, THIS is the style ball that can win you Nattys at some point, not Lincoln Rileys pretty and soft, no defense system.
This game should have been 84-0 EASILY!
OU. Recruits very well . We said it
Only if they had an o-line.
But as is, no. It couldn't have easily been 84-0.
@@Gutslinger They who
@@ScoreboardKeepers OU, obviously.. It wouldn't be 84-0 if Temple had a better o-line. Lol
@@Gutslinger Temple is terrble.letting the ball hit the ground that much 25 points were on turnovers alone no excuses
a serious contender for the new conference, They will beat Texas
52-0 shutout a better school 😂
Nah... HORNS...
@@americanjoe4955 we will see
Omg hold on to the ball😂
OU. Recruits very well . We said it
The trenches on offense may be a tough year, the defense though looked very good regardless of the level of competition, forcing 5 turnovers against anyone is impressive. Are the PAT and FG squads different? The FGs looked good (big time in SEC) but the PAT holds and kicks looked shaky. Tulane and Houston coming up are nothing to scoff at, defense needs to keep hitting hard while the offense gets some reps
Oklahoma qb looks better than Sanders to me. Then again he has more options.
