Thinking about how this video was made. Each class is shown off during firelink which means he had to start a new game and go through the asylum 10 times to snag just a minute or two of footage per showcase. Very nice informational video for new players and I appreciate the work put into it.
Pyromancer is level 1 and has fireball which every enemy in undeadburg is weak too. Also master key is best starting gift unless you go theif and firebombs. Clubs and maces are best vs skeletons
I always advice noobs to go knight. The armor is really good early on, mostly because of poise being so good. Add on top a good shield and weapon and knight is a great way to teach the basics to a newbie.
That's a good shout, I personally just find the knight to be a tad too sluggish and end up getting hit more often. Shield wise I usually end up with the heater shield early game anyway so I don't pay much attention ot the starter shield
@@libralonix Yeah for a veteran knight is tad slow, but the poise and armor allows more mistakes early on giving new players more time and freedom between deaths/bonfire rests. Getting ambushed doesnt feel as bad when you dont stagger each hit. But otherwise, warrior, pyro or wanderer is the way to go when youre more experienced
DPS, 2024 , true incident, i chose BANDIT as well , originally Thief (drops are great!), my female Bandit (Zelda ; as this setting kinda reminds me of destroyed Hyrule region etc) quite possibly set a DPS record by taking out first Bell tower Gargoyle prior to second Bell Gargoyle being able to spawn in until seconds after , i was totally confused on that roof looking for second Bell Gargoyle which wasnt there yet! I used my Murakumo+5 to take out Bell gargoyle #1 as it landed in front of my Bandit as i stepped out of that white portal thingy! I prefer drops though ... hence Thief or Bandit high Faith etc
@@libralonix i don’t know. Bought the game 2 yrs ago and Every half year or so I give it another go. I have never made it far. I went with the knight this time but maybe I will try pyro. I like the look and atmosphere but I am not good at this game at all. Currently stuck at gargoyles 🥲
Pyromancy is very good in Dark Souls so I can highly recommend it. I'm a huge fan of melee and always go in with the classic warrior, it's a great all round melee starter class

Ahhh I've always wanted to do a full BKS run, the black knight halberd is always too tempting though lol

I do like a nice cleric build
Cleric is definitely going to be the next class I do on a full playthrough, the miracles look.......well miraculous!
