I’m retired, and woke up at some ungodly hour this morning. I clicked on this TH-cam. Me and my coffee have been enjoying your perfect, relaxing, unannoying voice. I haven’done any Zentangles in quite a while, but love them! You have inspired me to get my stuff out and get back to it. Several years ago, I tangled all over those faux Pumpkins from Michael’s. I took awhile, and I think I did a white paint pen on black pumpkins…or maybe it was the other way around. Anyway, my grown sons loved them, and get them out, year after year. It was harder to do tangles on a 3-D styrofoam-type pumpkin than a flat surface, but I just took my time. Wish I’d done one for my husband and me too! TFS!
This turned out so lovely even though I didn’t have a kit. I drew a pumpkin shape in my sketch book and then used an 05 to do the tangles so that they sort of represented the sharpie line width. I love the fact that zentangle can always be done with or without lesson supplies by using just what you have. Thanks for a lovely fall lesson Kelli.
Your pumpkin looks so lovely Kelli! I loved to watch you transform it into a piece of art. Makes me want to draw a pumpkin and decorate it with inktober tangles ;-) Thank you! Love from The Netherlands, Ingrid.
Absolutely beautiful, Kelli 🤍🧡🩵. I saw the pumpkins at HL after you mentioned you were going to tangle on them. I bought a pack. I have them on display, and can't wait to tangle on all of them 😄. I may have to buy another pack to give as gifts. Thanks so much for your inspiration 💖
I have to be honest, I thought I'd absolutely hate my finished pumpkin. The sharpie was not very dark and when I darkened lines, they never ended up like my other works. There are parts I might do differently if I could do them over, but I actually LOVE the finished product! My eyes automatically make the black lines darker. Thank you so much for doing this! 💙 💙

Ilove that you are getting back into it. It has gone in waves for me as well over the years. I also love that your sons still enjoy the pumpkins!

I like the segmented look of this design.
Hi Kelli, I wasn’t able to get a kit from you, but I have been doing all of the tutorials. Thanks so much for sharing your talent.
YOU are amazing! And patient and kind and all things good! The pumpkin was so nice and smooth to work on!

So pretty!!

I am so glad you were able to embrace the imperfections and ended up loving it!
What a fun thing to do with the Inktober tangles we have learned! Your great! Thames you!
Your pumpkin turned out so amazing! I hope mine turns out just as well. I’m way behind 😅as always. I’ll get ‘r done sooner or later.
💛TR
Thanks Kelli, I am so happy with my pumpkin.🧡🔶🔸🔶🧡
I love this project! Thank you so much.
So beautiful… Can’t wait to try…. Thank you so much👍❤️
Krylon workable fixation works well!
Good to know!
So beautiful!
The sharpie I have at home doesn’t have good ink. I’m hoping the PN pen works. I’m so excited! ❤❤❤ just outlined the pumpkin.
The PN should work...just might not give you as bold of a line. Is the sharpie the one that came with the kit?
@@KelliBlouin I wasn’t able to buy a kit. But I ordered the pumpkin from hobby lobby. The PN pen work. I also used an 08 micron to thicken areas.

Cute 🎃👍🏻🥰🇨🇦
The pumpkin on the paper is more true to form than the one you drew on the actual pumpkin, I think you have put the middle lines too close together.
