Tbh, the fan base that disliked the sequels will continue to dislike the sequels Props for Jon and Dave for the stories they have been telling. But there's soo many issues with the sequels that literally nothing can be done to change the opinion that's been made. (I'm part of that group) The stories weren't connected very well, and the direction that was done for fam favorite characters like Luke, really did a number on fans
@@charli4815 I really like the sequel! Rey, Finn, Poe and Rose are excellent characters! I'm disappointed that Rose got too little of a scene in The Rise of Skywalker! She had a lot of potential because she was already a good character!

@@SuperPlacido1 honestly they ruined the sequels simply bc of storytelling. it was a direct copy of the original trilogy. rebels/resistance destroys a battle station despite odds, new jedi goes to find old master to teach them, while allies struggle to escape empire/first order, new jedi finds out they’re related to evil sith, then rebels/resistance calls on all allies to fight a final space battle while jedi fights palpatine not to mention they wasted their best character. don’t get me wrong, the actors were great with what they were given (which was disappointing), but the only story i was ever actually interested in was finn’s story. the fact they didn’t focus more on him, his backstory, or give him a better story, or make him force sensitive, is wild.
The problem with the sequels were the different directors. Everything got jumbled up and now damage control is happening to patch up the cannon. Ahsoka was supposed to be in episode 8 in the original script but Rian Johnson redid a lot of it.
I was sad when I heard and watched a clone wars season and I saw Ahsoka. But I always wondered why she wasn’t in the sequels. Edit: I’m bad at spelling lol
