I have a problem which is after I got my original screen replaced with the one ☝🏻 up there in the video, my vehicle’s speakers become less quality, in everything like the voice hight, the voice clearness. Also, the USB ports are not working at all.
I wanna know one thing, can this problem be fixed or because that screen isn’t suitable for my 2011 Ford Explorer xlt, so I should get the original one back

I just purchased a 2015 ford explorer xlt with the exact base stereo you had just removed. Is this any different then ordering a standard touch screen stereo direct from dealer? I am looking to purchase asap and want a working alternative to the crap base stereo. I will reply for people with similar issue - using forscan to program... you need to check this value.
7D0-01-01 (first line in as-built config) shows 10th position value - I had to change mine to one with heated seats in order for rear controls to appear on screen. Still experimenting. (HSW is heated steering wheel) I tried "8" and it didnt work, resorted to "B" and it did.

will something like this work on a 2016 Ford explorer police interceptor with factory backup camera been finding some for sale on eBay but only go up to 2015 would like to upgrade was reading and they said on them will not work with factory backup camera if anyone has upgraded one let me know thanks
But here we will miss out on the rear ac control physical buttons.. any idea if we have a system that changes 4 inch to 8 inch & we can still use the existing ac manual controls ? I am pretty skeptical about the changing of AC control from physical buttons to touch screen. I have a base model Ford Explorer 2014

Hello; I did this same procedure to install an android radio. (plug and play without intervening any cables).
When reinstalling the original system, the SYNC stopped working; the Bluetooth; the Aux and the USB.

Do you know what the oem usb part number is. Who'll this radio keep any of the oem features as Bluetooth or sync ?

This radio does not support factory backup camera(if your vehicle equips with it). You need to install an aftermarket camera instead.
3. This radio does not support factory amplifier audio system.
4. This radio does not support XM/Satellite radio function.
5. This product has different accessories for manual climate control and auto climate control, please tell us it is manual or auto climate control on your car when place the order so that we can send you correct accessories for your car.
6. This radio does not support factory remote start and seat heating

Do you have plans on releasing a version of this for the 2016 Ford Explorer? The factory base radio system has changed slightly from 2015
you can install this radio, but the air conditioner will not work
+rombel1979 The connector for the ac/heater controls is different and the connector for the oem 4" screen is slightly different as well. The radio harness connection is the same. I will wait for them to release an appropriate version for the 2016 Explorer. not worth the risk trying to modify things for $550 dollars
no, different only 1 connector - for air. other connectors the same. one of my customer trying to connect))) everything works fine, except for the air conditioning)))

the product is good ones the ploblems i see is the ugrade the androi sofworld probly no make .the radio ugrade no is for all models like 2011 to 2015 basic models no come rear camara no expecial system sound ....you can use rear camara but aftermarket and sound too like amplaficator
