Same here. I call my fully loaded 19' Laramie my mini-TRX. Lifted 3" all around on Bilstein 6112 coilovers & 5160 rear Suspension & Bilstein rear springs. 35" Ridge Grapplers, and BORLA S-Type catback exhaust system. Thing is an absolute beast and turns heads every day. Best truck/vehicle I've ever owned.
Your videos are awesome. Love the new wheel look. Keep the chrome on the truck. Matches the wheels and gives it a nice contrast. Keep the videos coming and I hope you make 500k on the mileage.
I have a 19 sport cdn that I put 22" x33s and had them on for 3 years and now I also went with black rhino wheels in a 20x9.5 with toyo open country at3 in a 34" this summer. I wanted a softer ride with the added side wall width and very happy with them. Lots of compliments btw.
I have the ram 1500 sport in black out trim and it looks a lot better, so good in fact that abut 15 other people switched to ram trucks in my community we have about 1000 people here and that’s a a big influence for sure
Black it out! I run 37x13.50 Nitto Recons on -44 offset wheels on my limited with a 7.5 inch lift and love it. If I ran 35s then the 18s look better than on 22s . Love the channel !
I love Cooper truck tires, used to sell and mount and balance them way back when. They make a great tire and good warranty too for less than these other big names. They ride great too and awesome in the rain and snow
Honestly I’d probably go with a 20” wheel and I’d definitely go with a set of Falcon Wildpeak AT3W. But your set up does looks cool! I think your decision to go with the air ride delete was a good move. As always, another great video on the high mileage truck!! Keep em coming!!
I've had Cooper Discoverers on my Ram HD for a few years. I bought them because the specs, warranty and price were right. I first had issues balancing them, but I eventually got them corrected. They've had great snow and rain traction, and they've been outlasting my Firestones, my Michelins and my General Grabbers.
The new tire and wheel setup looks great, if there were more options for tires for 22s I would stick with those, but completely understand why you went down in rim size more economical and lots more tires to choose from. Great content on this Chanell.
When are you thinking of putting the headers on? I have a 2019 limited I bought brand new have 154,000 miles on it replaced the passenger side at 120,000 miles (after warranty expired) and now my driver side has the hemi tick. I’m thinking of the JBA ceramic coated headers your same cold air intake and Borla touring exhaust system. Want to keep the truck at least 300,000 miles
I had a exhaust manifold bolt replaced by Dodge around 60 thousand for 500 dollars. Then 2 years later got a broken bolt on my drivers side. And it's been the same for over 3 years now and it will stay that way . Dodge isn't getting another nickel from me. Someday maybe I'll find someone to install some shorty headers.
I’m just waiting for a couple days when I don’t have to travel for work. Hoping for an easy install, but want to give myself time in case I run into broken bolt issues.
@@MrJustinWheeler quick question do you think the cold air intake is necessary? I live in California my exhaust system is in and my headers are in but S&B said they have to wait until California approves the cold air intake which said it’ll take a few months. Do you think I should cancel the intake?
Why are there over 5 warning lights on your dash? the engine check light, also the AEB (that should never be turned off) tyre pressure warning light, ABS light, traction control light why?
22's suck in the snow. Thats why I've ran 18's ever since 2002 on my Dodge/Rams. Ive had 6 since 98. I still have the air ride in my '21 with 97k on it up in Wisconsin with no issues. Going into this fall/winter, I won't lie. I'm a little nervous. But ive had 2 previous rams with air ride over 125k miles with no issues. I love that youve gotten so many miles out of your '19. My 21 is basically stock but loaded with every option except HUD. Love my rams
@MrJustinWheeler You must be the best person to capture/track the hot topic - gas mileage. Stock vs Lift vs 35's with lift. Would be nice to see your video on the math if it's even enough material for one
You should take off your tow hitch if you don’t need it, a little fender bender is going to cause a lot of damage from it. Those AT3’s are a lot better in the rain and snow compared to the Ridge Grapplers.
I just put 295/70 18 on my rebel love them, was suppose to get 285/75 18 but a mishap happened, and I didn’t wanna go through the hassle of waiting and even though I lost .4 or so in size I love the look of the 34s look, also trying out the new ko3 and so far no complaints, love in Michigan so time will tell for the snow. Also went with the ko3 because of the weigh one of the lightest tires,
I had the same size wheels and tires on my 2019. Put a 2 inch spacer on the front and 1 inch on the rear with the Off Road Package. IMHO, it was perfect with the 3:92 gears.
My 2012 came with the " Aluminum clad" rims at 20 inches.I just put on some 80 pound running Cooper tires on those rims and they still are the best looking rims that came stock on a Ram. His new rims look ugly.
Way better. Big rims get old and the tires are more expensive. I am a huge ridge grappler fan. I ran 4 sets and every set went over 50k miles. On a diesel truck too. I like them also because they are 12 ply and I am a firm believer in 12 ply on trucks. Great fuckin tires. I put a set on my wife’s 2017 Tahoe. 33x12.50 on 18x9 f rated. 3 YEARS ago they are about done but still.
Mr. Justin Wheeler. I have a LOW mileage 2019 Ram 1500 Limited in Billet silver, 35K miles I bought new. I have to change my tires, can you recommend a tire for me? I mainly use it for highway driving, some snow, but mainly highway. Thanks
I don't understand this trend of 20-22 inch wheels at all. Maybe on a 2 wheel drive but you need sidewall off road. Its why the Raptor and TRX have them.
Raptors and trx are for off-roading that’s why they have sidewall. you don’t need sidewall if you aren’t going off-road. 22s are just fine for everyday driving…
@@Zkgod24 I get that and it's fine or even better if you have a 2 wheel drive. I buy a 4X4 to do things off road or snow and its never benefited me having 22 inch tires
They're going to 24" wheels now. Skinny rubber is perfect for on-road handling, but they're terrible for everything else. Not just bad off-road crush and ride comfort, they also wear out suspension and steering much faster because of a lack of squish.
Old wheel was way nicer looking, brother. If you delete all the chrome, it will look much much better. I would keep the stock wheel and upsize the tire. Much more cohesive look.

I have a 21 Limited with E torque and i love my truck, paying a lot for it monthly even tho bought it a year old used. But these trucks have tonss of quirks. Developing a right side dreaded manifold leak it seems. Already drilled out and cut the bolts that snapped at the end of the Y pipe and meet there at the flange. Had to drill though the 2.5” of steel which wasnt fun since they thread into the flange, not nut and bolt. Theres always a worry bout my air ride because since the summer its always charging longer and purging it seems. Even tho they were supposed to fix that after 19’. The rear window and brake light leak was a big issue and recall and i fixed mine myself before they sent me the letter…figures. And a year ago mine had a recall for software due to the Powertrain control module having an issue where it could literally jus shut off while driving. Oh and the active air damn and front grill shutters needed to be replaced and i thought it was under warranty and that cost me like 1800 bucks. Parts were like 1400. And im a mechanic myself but theres so much to these trucks. Oh and my battery died twice on me after i left the lights one while inflating the tires for all of 3 mins with my Milwaukee pump. And its been fine for 3 weeks ever since. But the 5th gen ram forums say the stock batteries are junkkkk and last 3 yrs if youre lucky…i came from GM alwaysss.
