Just a teeny tiny bit of correction. Samal Island is a city that's why it's called IGACOS (Island Garden City Of Samal) officially. It belongs to the province of Davao del Norte. Davao City is an independent city although for statistics and geographical reasons, it is grouped with Davao del Sur. It will never become a suburb of Davao City unless something happens on the political side of things for example some new law around that topic. The Davao -- Samal bridge has been a dream development since before I was born. It was proposed as early as the 1970s. I never imagined that it would ever materialize in my lifetime but here we are. It will bring more development to Samal such as businesses and hopefully cheaper products and produce. It is the job of the relevant authorities of Samal to see to it that nature in the areas are continously protected and maintained for future generations to enjoy.
Nice conversation guys ,its really good to mix up with other foreign people because it gives you more knowledge about Philippines and helps more idea.Valentina once your divorce is done you can start a fresh life in Samal

Short story when I was young-- my mother is in hurry to finish washing the clothes so the laundry will be dry while it is still sunny. Suddenly, a Mormon preacher arrives to read the bible & share about their religion. My mother stop doing the laundry, gave seat to the guest & served a coffee (in a hot sunny day) and apologized because that is all she can served. Despite being busy, my mother listen patiently. After speaking for more than 15 minutes, they sell some brochure about their religion. My mother just have very little money on her pocket but she was shy to say no. She still bought the brochures to not disappoint the Mormon. Just imagine if this happened in U.S., Europe or any other Western country? What do you think Westerners will say or do as soon as the Mormon arrives or started preaching?
