i love that you were reading wings and ruin. it’s my favourite book in the series and i really hope you enjoyed it. the autumn leaves you drew made me smile soooo big. i can’t wait to receive my kobo and do the same thing!! this was just a great video exemplifying all of the features of this e-reader.
I had a learning curve as this was my first ereader and went through a up and down of loving it to second guessing when I watched comparison videos. So now I have the Cara BW (I like that it’s simple and small)and the Kobo Libra Colour and I’m glad I have both 😊 I’m so glad all the little bumps, I took off the tapping to turn page to help with annotating. I’m enjoying all the features so much. It’s so fun to use 😊 I love browsing the store in color. And using the notebook features. I love your pouch, it looks perfect for your setup. I liked seeing how you use the templates for your key. I agree with your verdict.
Thank you for your review ! Best review i see so far !!! I really want this kobo now !! Even if a dont anotate a lot cos’ i hate writing on paper book 😢 i want to keep them safe so this ereader is insane 😊
Very helpful review, thank you. If only the device came with your lovely handwriting. :) Highly recommend "Educated" btw, one of my all time favorite memoirs.
@@tee-tee172 Oooooo! I really enjoyed The Davenports… I hope you enjoy it too! I’m going to look into It Waits in the Forest. Haven’t heard of that one. It sounds intense. 🫣
The Kobo Libra Color is by far my favorite reading device. I've had kindles, and also have a Boox Go 7 color and the Kobo Libra Color out performs them by leaps and bounds. My only complaint is that I can't easily access my kindle content and that because of Amazon's exclusivity clause on Kindle Unlimited titles the Kobo bookstore is limited. If we're lucky, someone will take on Amazon and make them remove that clause since it pretty much creates a monopoly of the market.
@@melissalowe8473 Thank you for sharing your experience, especially given the fact that you’ve used so many different e-readers. I was so close to buying the Boox reader but I’m very happy with the Kobo! Happy reading!
@@PepeLePewQTPie Hi. I don’t think I’m going to get the Kindle Colorsoft. I’ve looked at several reviews and I don’t think it’s for me. It doesn’t come with a stylus, you can’t write on the “pages” and the price point isn’t that great. So I think I’ll pass on it.
I've discovered a deal-breaking "feature" on the Kobo Libra Colour w/ stylus: **Your handwritten notes/annotations are not safe and will be completely lost if you ever migrate to another Kobo e-reader or if you have to reset the one you have.** This fact is highlighted in red on Kobo's help page. That would mean that if you value your notes in the books you've annotated, you'll never see them again if you changed Kobo devices. For me, doing research and making lots of notes, this is a total deal breaker. Kobo should store backups of all handwritten notes to the cloud. But they don't. Bummer.
@@Greg_M1 If you have notes that are imperative for you to keep you can put them in the Kobo notebook, download them and turn them into a pdf doc. This might be a work around for that issue. It could prove to be time consuming but, again, if the notes are imperative to keep this could solve your issue. I’m using my e-reader for entertainment and life long learning so it’s not necessary for me to be able to access my notes for eternity. Since the kobo can hold about two thousand books I don’t see the need to move to another one. Everyone’s deal breakers are different so I hope you find the e-reader that’s perfect for you and your reading needs.
@@PeaceofthePlans Thanks, you are right about being able to export your notes as pdfs, but that's not convenient nor the most logical solution (e.g. store in cloud). Anyway, thanks again.
I got one about 6months ago. Let it run out of charge by accident about a month back. Now it no longer works. It's stuck on the language screen. I have had multiple kindles and never had a problem, The fact there are multiple reddit threads about this type of thing and the ereaders from kobo freezing, I am down the drain about $350 AUD. Seriously, just get a kindle coloursoft when it comes out. I would not risk my money again
I hope you'll make an audiobook reading channel one day cause your voice is soo comforting!
Thank you so much for this review! I was worried about my Kobo purchase and this made me feel like I did good!
Just so you know, there is enough storage space for several thousand e-books. Thank you for your excellent review.

Thank you for the review. It's clear and concise especially showing how functional the notebooks are
Apparently u can highlight in blue then highlight over it again in green and it will mix the colors to allow for more annotation codes
@@CC_Reads Oh! I didn’t know this. That’s a good little hack to add more annotation categories. Thank you.
Terrific review!! I think I'll purchase one.
Thank you for sharing the details of how everything works. Great presentation.

A long review but well worth it. This is the best of many I've seen for the Kobo - we actually see it in use. Well done.
Thanks! Superb review ;) Been trying to decide whether or not to get one and you are making this look so fun.
Love your case. I love the design, the lightness of the device. I aslo like that I can transfer my other books from other sources.
Totally agree!
What a incredible review. Thank you so much. Just onequestion. Can I make notebooks from what I highlighted in my book?
This is right on time!
I love my kobo colour ❤

My 2nd Kindlewhite Paperwhite died. Both last 3 years. That is highway robbery. I will never again support Kindle.
