I know this video is a couple years old, but I was wondering when you went to the beach on your bikes, where did you leave the bikes? Can you just drive them right up to where you put your umbrella? Or do you have to leave them at a parking spot?

We were just over on Dolphin Island about a month ago. We had pretty much the same temps you guys were having in this video. You're totally right about the area being beautiful.

We are staying there Oct '22 (Lord willing). We guestimate just this parks campground alone brings in approximately 70 Million dollars a year for the state. Did you mention the site number at the first site you were in, or did I miss it?
Hello! Apologies for the delayed reply. We stayed in spaces 226, 268 and 370 during our first visit in April 2021. 226 is the waterfront site. We stayed in space 200 on our second visit to GSP in October 2021. Hope this helps.

Definitely a place to stay for sure. No. Lectric did not reach out to us for the 2.0. Seems there are too may larger RV channels that they felt could do more for them.
@@LyfUninterrupted I reached out to Lectric.. With my huge channel of 314 subscribers, I can see why they said no. They should go by how much you promote the bike, than by numbers. You deserve new bikes. Take care!
Great video. How far and secure were your bikes from the beach ? I am always worried about the ebikes being taken. Did you take your batteries on the beach? Do you worry about your bikes being taken? Tks
Hello Denise! The bikes weren’t too far from us, but there is always a concern that they will get stolen. We use a very thick and strong cable lock that would take someone a bit of time to cut through. Nothing is 100% secure though. We never take the batteries out.
Great video! Your videos convinced me to order an Lectric XP. I placed my order on May 5th, about a week or so later, they sent me an offer to upgrade for 50.00 so I went for it. Not sure when I'll receive it but hopefully by the end of summer. 😊
Will have the family there in July. Could only get 4 days in the middle of the week. Hopefully there will be a cancelation for a weekend. Then we can move around like you did. Looks like a great place.
Check out Flora Bama on the border of Alabama and Florida....during the day they have all age bingo.. .and have a bushwacker we had a great time there....enjoy
Yes. There is parking near the beach at the lodge, pavilion as well as the fishing pier. Parking at those locations is free when you stay at the campground.

Loved this video. So was this before you went to TN/KY, or did you leave there and go back south? We lived in AL for 4 years and just loved it. We didn't camp down there, we camped in the Panama City/Destin area since we were stationed at Rucker, since it was close. I would love to visit the area you show cased. Thanks for sharing.

By far the worst was when we’re on South Padre Island for 10 weeks. The humidity and salt air did a number on our coach. Still working to get rid of the corrosion.

There are plenty of bike racks at the beach entry points to lock your bike to. We never felt like theft was an issue.

Looks like a southern black snake. Pretty common. They keep the venomous snakes away. They are not aggressive.
It may have been. All the signs around the park say to look out for Cottonmouth's and Alligators... 😳

Hi JoAnn. You can ride bikes, walk or drive. The distance is probably a mile or so from the campground to the beach.
