We never thought we'd consider a KOA, until we stayed at one. Wow, we really enjoy them now. They are very dependable and well managed. All of the campgrounds you review here appear to be very nice. Great job! Thank you for sharing this information with us.
what a pleasure to listen to your relaxed voices and no b.s. no drama video....and very useful information! Thank you so much for an excellent one that I didn't have to fast-forward to get to the information for. (very surprised I don't see these campgrounds advertising on your video...you'd be great spokespeople for them..Mama has a radio d.j. kind of voice = complement!)
Love this! 1 of my Top bucket list. I've been all around Florida to yet Keys. I can taste wanna go so bad. Thank You and yes the spot you Got! Om. Gorgeous great video
Great video guys! So funny that you mentioned the Ashville East KOA because we were researching that area and had the KOA on our short list! We're heading there in October on our way back from Mayberry. There is a mountain campground we really wanted to check out, but they've been booked solid for a year. This KOA seemed like a great spot though. So glad you all mentioned it, skyrockets to the top of our list. Happy travels! 😀
We've stayed at the Mt. Rushmore KOA and agree that it's absolutely fantastic, if a bit spendy. There's also some National Forest camping just across the road from the KOA, that lacks all the amenities of a KOA, but is just as close to the monument.
Hello! As folks from Flagler, we thank you for the thumbs up!👍 we’re quite proud of our not so touristy beach. Glad you enjoyed us. Come on back anytime!
We liked the KOA at Mt Rushmore too and extended our stay. Would definitely go back. I am surprised that you didn’t mention the lack of cell coverage there. It was non existent when we were there, not sure if it’s changed. We didn’t mind but it would have been good to know before going in.
So it's not Detroit Ave? I learned something new today. Also my aunt was the head florist at Biltmore Est. I've seen a lot of the places that the public can't go. That place is astounding
Ha! So glad I found you guys from this video! Really excited to check out the rest of your content. Also- they call it cornhole because they do through bags of corn (at least that's what professionals use). I only know this only because my husband is obsessed with cornhole and asked for custom-made pro gear for Father's Day last year. 😳
Ashville East looks great, buty not West unless you have been there and like it. They are nice people and there are some great sites, but the I40 kind of ruins it for light sleepers. Thanks for the reviews.
Wow, love these places!! Definitely going on our bucket list. We aren't full-time campers (yet), but we've been enjoying taking our camper on some long trips since we bought it three years ago. I'm a nature photographer and my daughter a singer-songwriter, so we been combining our interests to make some travel videos for our channel. I never been to the keys, but that campground looks amazing. Thanks for the tips!!
Is it possible live in one of this campgrounds full time without problems? What you strongly recommends? We are only a couple, our "kids" now are adult and live in another state
I've just started watching you on TH-cam. And I am really enjoying your videos. I just want to give you a warning about those Iguanas that you talk about like in the Keys. There is a Cuban Iguana that is down right vicious. You really don't want to get close to a wild one .
Hi Charity - this is a bit off the subject but my husband and I are fairly new to the RV traveling and struggling to find camp grounds near Niagara Falls. Do you have any suggestions?
Yes! We stayed at Cinderella campground - no frills but much cheaper than the KOA down the road. You can learn more in this video: th-cam.com/video/mi8RLrtWWqU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=uZnPLVMk0bYl-U6E
Good evening. I am a new subscriber; brought over during your videos with Five2go. We (wife, myself, and german shepherd) are in the gradual ramp up process of getting a motorhome. We are still trying to decide between Class A and C. The main question I wanted to ask is to get your opinion of size; or to get an idea of how limiting you have felt with the size of your rig. We live in southwest Colorado. We will be doing 1-2 month excursions that focus on a particular part of the country (Pacific Northwest, California, New England, etc). And, we will also want to incorporate seeing state and national parks while in those areas. Have you felt limited, due to your size, from seeing the parks? We originally were thinking small and nimble. But, fact of the matter is a 2 month stint would be nicer in a bigger rig. Plus, since there are like 6 national parks within 6 hours of us here, we know what a zoo they can be and are not opposed to staying outside a park. Thank you for your time and input. .. .safe travels.....and I now HAVE to watch your Key West video!!
We haven’t been limited very often due to size (even in Key West). We haven’t been limited to Age either because our rig is in great condition. We choose a Class A because of having the kids and our appreciation for the large windshield and the view it provides during travels. However, we recommend to start now with the rig you can afford and works for your family (whether class a or c). You will know what is right when you test drive each of the rigs :) Good luck and thanks for watching!
@@GratefulGlamper Thank you very much for the prompt response! That is encouraging to hear, with regards to the size. Ha...I already have a sneaking suspicion with regards to what we would prefer over the other. As you recommended, funds will definitely be an overarching guide too. It will just be a matter of heading out to one of the metropolitan areas (Phoenix, Salt Lake, Denver, maybe Dallas) so as to try to get exposure to as many options within 1 general area. Thank you much and have a n awesome rest of your week.
These camps are nice but at 80.00 plus a night or 1800.00 a month is tooo pricey for me and Hank he's not shy about sniffing around and marking his spot

Thanks for the kind words!
When I lived in Florida as a child, shells were abundant. I had a collection of conch shells on my window sill.
Those are some wonderful campgrounds! Thanks for the review!
Thanks for watching!
We loved KOA at Mount Rushmore. Thanks for sharing!
It’s the best! Thanks for watching :)
Cornhole: in the Midwest we filled the bags with our most available resource, dried corn. a la corn (in the) hole

Wow that 1st and 2nd campgrounds I have been too! I also would back to both of these.
Cool places! Great video and drone footage. Looks like you’ll have fun returning to some fav spots!
Thanks so much 🙏🏻 Definitely will be back:) We appreciate you watching the videos!

Nice campgrounds. Looks like fun. The bags are made out of corn.
Your videos are very helpful! Thank you for the valuable information!

Old time farmers used corn cobs and the Sears catalog as TP.
😳
Great video! Looks like all great spots! Thanks for the awesome review!
Thanks guys! We appreciate you watching :)
Omg you have a class A. My wife will love this channel.
New subscriber to them.....also to check out how the class a works for their travels.
to funny im watching this and to hear you name flagler when i work two seconds from that campsite is amazing
That’s awesome!

So cornhole the way I play it is with home made bean bags that have dried deer corn in them.
That’s cool!
Hello from Okinawa, Japan! Thanks for sharing your favorite campgrounds.
Thanks for watching!
We stayed in the KOA Asheville on our way to and from the Outer Banks. It was super nice!
Good video. I'll have to check these out.
Thank you Roy! We appreciate you checking out our video and channel :)
Those jackets, though! Great video, love the aerial footage.
Thanks for watching!
We camped at Flagler a few years ago and it was my favorite too!
Thanks for sharing. And I always thought it said Detroit Ave. In fact I even sang it in my mind when you mentioned A1A . 🤣🤣🤦
😂😂
Great reviews. Mt Rushmore KOA looks ideal!
It’s super fun!
great info! thank you
Thanks for watching!
I know how some really dislike KOA, but in our adventures the KOA in Homer Alaska does both, View and Ocean and full hookups.
Thanks for sharing, I have recorded your sites for future trips, thanks

Great video!!! You guys need to come to Texas and try its beaches and coastline!!!!
We plan on coming back to Texas to check out the beaches and coastline. Do you have any recommended “Must See” places?
helpful.Thank You.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching :)
So beautiful video
Thank you!
Have you stayed at Americas Best Campground in Branson Mo. I recommend it a lot. Clean bathrooms.
Next must visit....
Wellesley Island State Park in the Thousand Islands.
Taughannock Falls State Park in Tompkins County, NY.
Y’all remind me of my husband and myself. I think corn hole was named because the bags were filled with corn. Don’t hold me to that but maybe?
👍🏻

Thanks for watching and good to know about the KOA on the west side of Asheville.
I thought it was Detroit avenue as well. Lol thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
This was a great list!!
Thanks for watching!
Elkhorn Risge in Spearfisd SD. 💪👍👍👍
Thank you for sharing your informations. The sites you mentioned, are they just for RVs? or van campers and tent as well. Thank you
Most are RV sites but there are some tent sites as well.
Did the Mnt Rushmore KOA have a shuttle to the site?
I don’t think they do, but you can call and ask about the option for shuttles, busses, etc in that area.

@@GratefulGlamper Thank you for the information!
Central States Fairgrounds in Rapid City
Is there campgrounds that you can stay year round without having to be moving around?
Nothing on the west side that made your cut. Are they not as good in your opinion or do you not get out this way that often?
We finally got our west this past year and will be making a top campgrounds we visited in 2020 video soon (with some West Coast places)!
So cool! We want to switch to a class A! Did you start out in that rig?
We started out in a smaller, gasoline engine class A and then upgraded to this 40 Diesel rig about a year later.

Amazon!

Most RV campgrounds offer a discounted rate for weekly or monthly stays.
Flagger is a great place!
I thought it was Detroit Avenue too....doht!
Lol, glad I’m not the only one who thought that! Thanks for making me feel better and watching!
Love your list. We're in Volusia County Florida and can't get a reservation on Flagler ever. It's always booked. 😔
Wow
Best time to go to Myrtle Beach?
September

No one uses a tent ?
Used to - not any more :)
the dude has weird eye contact
I noticed that as well
??? Campsites near Noah’s Ark williamstown,KY??
if i quit my job my family would die of starvation and we would not be able to get an rv :D
Nice enough vid, but should have been titled, "...campgrounds in the (mostly) southeastern U.S."
Thanks for the feedback!
You have 4 kids?
2 kids - family of 4
👍
What ruined that was ‘you could hear the waves even over the AC’. What a shame.
Why is that a shame?
Private beach do not exist, you can’t declare a beach private in Florida
CFYT
hahahahhahaha so funny you call this "camping"
She talks too much, does he ever talk? Rather see the beach and other sites, not listen to you talk so much.
That’s the difference between extroverts and introverts 😉
rich people problems.
So you have never been to Utah... bear lake .... or Willard bay or Zions National Park 🤔.
