I think after dropping the boy the driver didn't know the boy was crossing front . Always. Check if the child is either at back or front. Negligence the codriver and the driver are responsible

Exactly. There must have been someone supervising the kids as they got on or off the bus. Where was he/she? In addition why didn't the bus have a child-lock on the door considering it was used to transport child? Kenyans need to stop accepting negligence as well as mediocre treatment from persons in positions of power. Be they police officers, headteachers, class teachers and everyone else. Especially where the issue pertains to our children.

That was so wrong, how could they allow the child to sit on the front seat....am working in one of the schools in Saudi Arabia and my work is to supervise the kids in the bus as we pick and drop them. kids can some times be naughty but one thing I make sure I sit at the door side and my hand is always at the door and no kids sits on the front seat.... May God comfort this family and the little angel find a better place with the Lord 😢😢

I have realised schools are keen on safety at school when pupils are boarding the buses.They don't train their drivers on safety while picking and dropping kids.I have complained for the longest time.That driver should be jailed.He was not even remorseful.

The thought I have is that he was in front of the bus trying to cross and the driver did not see him, so he drove him over, then continued till the rare or back wheels rolled on him again!! 🤔😩🤕😭😭Then the driver stopped. Later the driver and Co. Wanted to change the story. 😭😭THE INVESTIGATORS SHOULD GO TO THE SCENE AND RECONSTRUCT THE INCIDENT!!!! THE FATHER IS RIGHT WITH HIS EXPLANATION. ##INTEROGATE THE PEOPLE INVOLVED 100 TIMES SEPARATELY. TILL THEY GET THE TRUTH OF THE HOW. ##
Kids should be privileged and protected at all costs. In America the school bus has cameras inside and outside.If the bus stop every vehicle stops you can't pass until the bus signals its safe to go. Why don't Kenya be strict on schools and kids. That ministry of education needs to review the rules and makes it very clear and safe for kids at schools and buses.period

Anybody who drives along quarry road and has met this bus prior to this will attest it is normally drivwn very recklessly and fast for a school bus... if the parents have ever complained i dont know

The school bus needs to have a child lock and also an adult supervisor should be in the bus. This is a very disturbing case of school negligence and the school should pay for everything and that driver be jailed for killing an innocent kid.
