Very useful and helpful tutorial, thank you! This has intimidated me for years. I may consider diving in a bit now.

Terrific video. Thanks very much! I am trying to figure out if I can play a MIDI drum set directly into Finale.

It sounds tricky, but I’d bet it’s possible. To figure it out, though, I’d have to spend a little time discussing it with the nice folks at Finale tech support 😁

Hello! Wher can I find that general Midi drum mapping chart that you show on the video. I don't usually write out realized drum part, especially for small jazz ensembles. However, if I could just find the sound (snare, bass dr,. ect) and the corresponding notation, that would be workable...and wonderful! Thanks

I added a link to that GM Drum Map in the description in case anyone else is interested in it, but here is a direct link: drive.google.com/file/d/1cKsTICRIAPPbcDy4j6KLHBX5tiDgs7Es/view?usp=sharing
      Hope this helps!

Hello - I'm having trouble using Finale Print 2014 on my M1 Mac. I can't open the program. Any suggestions

I hate to say it, but that’s a pretty old app….might be time to upgrade to the current, full version of Finale

@@ScottWatsonMusic Do you know if it's compatible with the M1 Mac book pros?
