I've seen pictures on Google images of this mall from 1976 when it first opened, that Asda store used to be a Woolco (a very large supermarket version of Woolies).
1:15 to 1:30ish, man on the bench is called Timothy. He’s always at the shopping centre. Always.
LOL It is a tip of a place, over half the shops in it are vacant.
I would agree, however you can't argue with the fact its the best in Ards!
@@TheDanderer there is more in the town centre
That's an exaggeration, most of the wing that leads to Iceland is vacant but most of the centre is occupied.
@@TheDanderercos its the only one 😅

Wut?
Make a video about sex worker rate and prostitution in Northern Ireland
I’ll leave that one for a journalist!
Iconic shopping destination???😂 whoever wrote the description needs to travel and see other shopping malls around the world, this is a complete utter joke,i suppose if it's all you've got it would seem " good"😂
Iconic is subjective! Also I was testing AI writing this description 😂
Ok, it mightn't be exactly what it had been originally intended to be, but I remember it was THE place to go in the late 70s. We had never seen anything so glamorous and we were having a great time (till my sister fell into one of the water features). People knew the difference when Connswater opened (and even Castlecourt) and it wasn't a patch on Woolco- as it was known in our house. Anyone remember 'The Village Green' bit with the pointless markety stall type shops?
