I would just like to say: THANK YOU!!! I had no idea a button was a 'switcher' and sooo many other things on here. This is exactly what I wanted for my website, but I spent ages and ages looking and tried all sorts of plug-ins etc. Once I found your video it was incredibly straightforward. Thank you once again. People like you make the world go round!
Thank you Adam for this invaluable tutorial!! I'm surprised how easy it is to translate my pages built in Divi. This allows my blog site to be read in languages my site visitors use.
I actually recommend using a bona-fide translator if you want a site that functions well in the destination language. Automatic translation can often sound clunky.
I manage a few multi-lingual sites. I used Polylang on a couple of them (and rejected using WPML) before I found TranslatePress. TranslatePress makes it soooo easy. All of the sites I've used TranslatePress on were built with Elementor.
God bless you for this video! I'm not too experienced in building websites, but my client asked for one qiute simple but a multilingual one though, and your video helped me a lot! The other options I looked into were quite difficult and complex! Yours is very clear, easy to follow, so thank you again!
Hi, great tutorial indeed! Unfortunately I have a problem... I'm using WP in Spain and my site's default language is Italian. So I need a translation into English from Italian. The point is that the default language is Spanish and it's seems impossible to swith to Italian without getting the PRO version (which isn't free). Do you know how to bypass this problem? Thks!
Thanks, useful plugin. But can i change menu buttons title? Like 'Home' to 'other language or 'Setting' to 'other language' or 'Contact Us' to 'other language'??
The Google Translate paid version is a completely different beast which is very accurate according to professional translators. It's cheaper and more thorough including extras you mentioned. It's also easier to use than both options presented here. I use it with elementor and it offers front end editing bypassing elementor and of argue much much simpler for non developers to use.
Hi adam , this is a great video ! but how can i translate woocommerce with translatepress? for a german checkout and email notification. because i have a webshop Dutch and wanna translate it into german.
My site defuault language is English, how ever I live in a french province in Canada called Quebec. The keyword receives more monthly search volume in french. I am in the process of translating the site using your method and so far I love it. Really easy way to do this. Now my question is doing it this way, will the keyword im targeting in french be seen by google robots? Would my site be able to rank for the french version of the english keyword? thank you in advance
This is a very useful video. I have tried several translation plugins but they didn't fully meet my needs. Surely this one will do the jobs. Thanks a lot sir Adam.
Can you override the language switcher language names? For example, instead of having the switcher options "English / French" can it be set to "English / Français"? A unilingual French speaker arriving at the English page may not recognize that "French" is the link to click on for their language. This is how Canadian government websites are set up.
Hello Kevin, i have the same problem here, just found this, no tested but i think it's the solution translatepress.com/docs/developers/change-language-name/
Great video! What if you don't want the website to be multilingual but only in a language other than English? For example only german. Would you still use a plugin like translate press? Cheers
Thanks for the video. Is there some CSS that I can add to make the shortcodes names box that I have above my main nav. smaller, the font just seams to big and the margin and padding doesn’t help?
Thanks for this great video. My Doubts: These type of translate plugin only just work for a visitor to change his native language, right? It not work with SEO or Website traffic, right? if there is have any other translator plugins have work with both traffic and seo. suggest as.
thanks for the video, saved time for me to browse, install all kinds ofplugins before knowing which meet my needs. I tried it worked on my main homepage but for some reason it does not translate in any other page, anyone have the same issue?
thx for ur video nice and explained well on TH-cam regarding TranslatePress plug work with the divi theme I have a website in Arabic language and I configured TranslatePress and added English language but the problem is supposed all page change from right to left when I switch from Arabic to English but that does not happen I need to solve the issue can you plz help me
Thank you very much. It is very easy to make a multilingual site this way. I made little video's and podcasts in different languages, how can I do the English ones on the English site and the German ones on the German site? You can change images, but you can'n change video's or podcasts. That is too bad. Or is there a way?
Thanks Adam! This is just the thing I need for a small side project I am working on (and was dreading how to implement translation). Appreciate the explanation of how easy it can be.
Hi there, very interesting video. After I installed the plugin as instructed, I can not go to the front page of my website anymore. What did I wrong? please I need your advise, best regards Bessel from Ecuador
Great plugin! Just a question: is there a possibility to translate multiple dropdown choices in wpforms? Unfortunately TranslatePress doesn't seem to work for this...
Hi, thank for your valuable content. One question, Am i going to rank on SERPs for keywords in the language I'm translating to? If not then native speakers of that language won't find my pages in the first place.
hello, im trying to translate English to ( rtl ) language but, when i switch to new language its also switching my layout from left to right ( all sections ) is there anyway to make translatepress JUST translate strings where it is, without mess with my layout? appreciate your response.
Hi Adam Thanks for this helpful tutorial I used google translator instead of deepL in Automatic Translation section, and also the way you said in tutorial without automatic translation but for both when I test it, there is an error that I put it here: The requested URL /fr/ was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. please let me know what should I do, Thanks again.
Thank you for this Adam. How can you change the font or images (for example) in the translated version of a page? The translated page is not listed in the page list and I can't find a way to edit it. For example, only certain fonts won't well for readability in Arabic and that is what I am trying to change but can't figure out how to do any editing on the translated page. Thanks a lot if you reply to this!

If you can't recognize the word "French" from "Francais" , you shouldn't be on the internet searching for stuff...
Will this work with popups made with Popups for Divi? Thank you. Do you like this better than Polylang?
Great video! What if you don't want the website to be multilingual but only in a language other than English? For example only german. Would you still use a plugin like translate press? Cheers
Thanks for the video. Is there some CSS that I can add to make the shortcodes names box that I have above my main nav. smaller, the font just seams to big and the margin and padding doesn’t help?
You can do most things with custom css, I am sure you can do that.
Thanks for this great video.
My Doubts:
These type of translate plugin only just work for a visitor to change his native language, right?
It not work with SEO or Website traffic, right?
if there is have any other translator plugins have work with both traffic and seo. suggest as.
Not this one, there is separate content with a separate URL.
thanks for the video, saved time for me to browse, install all kinds ofplugins before knowing which meet my needs. I tried it worked on my main homepage but for some reason it does not translate in any other page, anyone have the same issue?

Thanks Adam! May need this for a project this year, I hope the discount will be valid then.
Hey, great Video but the Translation does not work for f.e. an animated headline for me. Does anyone know how to do this?
Any idea how to put a language switch on a Elementor button?
