That cry is definitely a pain cry, the gargling is probably because they drool so much more when they teeth. With one of my babies, we had to give him infant advil AND infant tylenol, 30 minutes apart, just to get him to sleep it was so painful. Not sure if that something you've tried or want to do, but theres nothing wrong with giving them medicine if they are in pain. If you're nervous about it, talk to their doc first.

I’m in Wisconsin so black widows are more rare here but I’ve seen some. Brown recluses are more common and those freak me out so much too 😫

One reason I think it is more 'common' than regular families, is Chris' family. So Flynn walks in and they r filming. And aunt Rachel films things too. And maybe Kory too?

know this is a question for Colleen but when I was pregnant I had HORRIBLE nausea like once threw up in my car out of nowhere while I was driving bad . I got preggie pop drops , if u live in the US there in target n Walmart but I would google to be sure for your area but I would always suck on them and it helped so much ! Hope your pregnancy gets easy for you 🤞🏼

The 24 hr maybelline actually works really well. I’ve been using it for a few years. It’ll smear a little if you eat something oily, otherwise, it stays on all day and I take it off with coconut oil. And it’s cheap.

Colleen, if you want a really good lip tint, try Peripera ink the velvet tint. They are my favorite, you can wear it sheer or built up, and they dry matte and don't transfer. I bought a few colors after being frustrated that I couldn't wear lip stuff because of wearing a mask all the time, and they are my favorite lip product now.

When mine was getting teeth I rubbed infant baby Benadryl on her gums. To this day I use liquid Benadryl to heal anything wrong with the inside of the mouth. It reduces the nerve and allows the tooth to push through. :)

Tortilla talk question: So we’ve already debated the toilet paper roll over and under situation. My follow up question is: which way does the silverware go in the dishwasher? I was recently at a friends house and they told me I could grab a clean fork from the dishwasher. I was shocked to see the forks, and all silverware in the dishwasher basket FACING DOWNWARD. I’ve always been told they go face up?! I need to hear more from both sides!!
I put them up too except for the knives which I face down (safety issue when unloading the dishwasher)
I always put them face down
I mix it up so they aren't all facing the same way.
Facing down! Facing up saves a bit of room, but when you pull them out you're touching the part you eat with. Facing down has gotten my silverware a lot cleaner too.
Those clothes especially the PAC Man and Slinky that is like 80s amazing . I loved the bug pottery . I also had a preemie born at 34 weeks she was 5 lbs 2 Oz and went down to 4 lbs 13 . She is now the tallest in our family at 18 and she’s an amazing cross country runner .

When unloading groceries, we put away colds/frozen things first lol. However, we go one bag at a time by taking stuff out, putting it away, and going onto the next bag 🤣
As much as I enjoy watching you open packages I can't help but think about how unsustainable all those packages are. I love your content, perhaps you could find more companies that provide sustainable packing for less waste. There's just already so much pollution in our oceans and waters any little bit helps
Here in CA we have recycling mandated by law. I know all homes in LA have a trash bin, as well as a blue recycling bin. You sort your trash and separate glass, aluminum, plastic, cardboard, and paper and it goes in the blue bin and taken to massive recycling centers. And, as of this year, we've also started sorting out our food and organic waste into a separate container for composting. In fact, LA's recycling rate is over 75%- one of the highest rates in the ten largest cities in the country.
@@saydee777 As much as recycling is great, a large majority of recycling isn’t actually recycled and negatively impacts the environment. Yes recycling is a step in the right direction, however less plastic in the world is what we need and thus less packaging is ideal, not recyclable packaging :)

Tortilla talk question: Colleen I saw you unpacking groceries and I noticed that you where using plastic bags my question is what do you do with those plastic bags since they contaminate a lot and if you keep them in the house if they are in the reach of you babies they could play with them or even choke on them
Normally, I don’t write comments, but I’m shocked every time to see how shopping in the US works. Here in Germany we try to do at least a little something to protect the environment. That’s why everyone simply brings their own reusable bags for shopping. And then seeing you get a new plastic bag for every fourth item... There’s nothing personal against you, I love the vlogs and your family very much ❤️❤️. It’s just shocking to see so many plastic bags at once, and that in 2022…
And all the packages every day...So much garbage. I dont usually comment neither but i was so overwhelmed about all that stuff...
