So crazy to see how she sung in 2013-2014 vs 2019-2021 its completely different in every aspect. Tonal quality, skill, technique yes!
Yeah she has grown a lot in the vocal aspect but she still sounded amazing in 2013 and 2014. :)

So true, before 2014 I like calling that phase the "Baby Grande phase" and she became a woman in the Dangerous woman era 2016! And after 2018 she completely became another singer, the actual "Grande" we are promised! 😆

She has had live performance and other stuff, where she did miss notes / went flat but she is very talented! :)

Also remember that she was already a very very practiced performer by 2013. She had plenty of opportunities to fail before achieving such great performances
Her high notes sound much more effortless and soft now😍
And yet so powerfull!!
Crazy how much hate she gets for no reason, she slays so much.
Some people hate on anyone with their own unique style, and just don’t like flavor
There’s always a reason
she is talented but she gets hate for race bending
it’s not just a vocal evolution, but a creative one!
I also think that she found her sound over the years and got more confident in her voice which is why she got more creative and made mote note changes ( especially after 2013 / 2014 ). :)

I thought she was really good in the early days. She had some really good songs in her first two albums. And one of her best live performances was early, I am thinking 2013.
Yes!!!! The Bb5 in breathin!!! One of my favorite note changes of hers! And the prettiest Bb5 she has done.
She’s actually so talented, beautiful, she’s our queen, Angel, god!! Her voice is so soothing!! Her high notes brings tears to my eyes
She grew and glew up so much in her appearance, her voice, the way she looks at life.... a deadass badass queen, period!
That's what I love 'bout Ari ❤she keeps on improving to become best version of herself both vocally and also by her personality rather than thinking that she's perfect when there are so many people making her feel like that.☺
2016 is the first year I hear a slightly improvement, 2019 had a bigger evolution and she was even better in 2020 and 2021 💕
Her tone has definitely improve, it's less whiney now and well mixed.

As much as I love ariana’s high falsettos & whistles notes, I also love her lower register, (like in “still hurting”)❤️ its so different yet just as amazing & beautiful! 💛 her vocal range is another level of talent
Yeah her lower notes are so gorgeous! 💜 (to me)
One of the few things I know about singing is that vocal coaches hate when you tilt your head up when you go up on your high notes; the fact from what I saw shows that in her more recent years, she only does this in a force of habit and Ariana gotten better breathing technic (I think that what its called) she holds her notes longer and takes less unnecessary breaths in between words and still let us make us understand what she is singing show her skill and beautiful technic.
I feel like her singing voice got softer over the years. That’s just a big difference I heard.
I kinda get what you mean buy actually in the early years of her singing career she was actually able to do so many soft notes.
If u want: Check out her performances of " The way " on the Today show in 2013. Her tone and softness there is amazing. Her voice sounds so good there!!! ( In my opinion it sounds so good there. )

@@ButeraMelina I definitely agree. Maybe softer isn’t the word I’m looking for. I guess from the middle of her career, the clips shown were more belting and loud, but now she sings more quiet.

I wasn’t the biggest Ariana fan during 2013-early 2017. I felt she had an identity crisis with her voice and was trying to mimic the diva singers that influenced her growing up. Then came 2018, which in my opinion, she finally found her style/voice, I fell in love.

2016 > 2020 > 2015 > 2019 > 2018 > 2021 > 2017 > 2013 > 2014
This list is based on my personal opinion not her actual overall vocal ability. With that being said ariana is such amazing vocalist like she’s unbelievable but no year had a much pure slayage as 2016. It’s like undeniable like from the very start of the year to the end she was singing her best performances of her career however idk what she was doing in lockdown but her voice was so strong and silky in 2020 like I wish u Included the Hercules song and my everything, if we had more performances from that year everyone would definitely agree. 2015 and 2019 obviously some of her best vocal moments as they are tour years but in my opinion 2015 was superior in falsetto and ease and upper belting which are my favorite things about Ariana but 2019 is easily her most creative vocal year with the amount of runs,riffs and note changes she came up with which was done honestly as a cover to her obviously lost in ease 😢. 2018 was fantastic started off lil shaky for obvious reasons 💔 but was great vocally nevertheless. 2021 was good but veryyy pitchy like the most pitchy she’s ever been since 2014 but her tone and support saved her like I love her newer mature tone. 2017 was different and scary at first but it really wasn’t a bad year for vocally just different as she lost in some areas and gained in others. 2013 and 2014 were similar except her pitch was a lot more consistent in 2013, may be nerves as she had started to blow up in 2014 idk but she was going flat in every performance almost. Which is not that huge of a deal but for her it is because it’s not common for her at all

And you mentioned that in 2014 that she was not in her best area vocally, she went flat often and I do agree that there are a lot of performances where she didn't sound as good as compared to now. Obviously she grew a lot compared to being 21 years old to now being almost 30. I think female singers have their prime while being around 29 years old so I was really now she has improved a lot.
I also think that her having performances but she sounds flat results from her performing literally everywhere.
Like she performed on so many shows everywhere like basically was going on tour even though she wasn't on tour because she performed SO MUCH, especially her songs " Problem " and " Break free ".
