Saw him with Martin Taylor at the Musical Instruments Museum 2 weeks ago. Best jazz guitar concert I've ever seen. The level of play for the entire 90 minutes was absolutely amazing....He's truly a freak - in a very good way, lol.
Saw him in Boston in the mid-1980s, when he was 18 and had just released his first cd. Saw him again about 10-15 years ago at Iridium in NYC. Great player who has aged like a fine wine (with apologies for the cliche)
Fantastic playing! But the fork scratching on the plate in the background... That would be much better without it, it deservs the short break in dinner...
One of THE BEST guitar players ever!
It’s one thing to be ridiculously technically gifted, but add passion, creativity and joie de vivre and you have Biréli! Simply delicious!
wasn't expecting the freeze pedal! also didn't expect that funky ending!! another dimension!
Playful , ferocious , beautiful, whimsical, utterly fearless…
that is the best!!!
GOAT ❤
Made my day ❤
Why is every great jazz live recording accompanied by the sounds of some guzzling pigs? Bireli is incredible.
Simply amazing talent, love your playing..
KING .
That was magnificent, so much power in his playing, no tickling the thing
Inarrivabile! ❤️
Un aperçu du monde dans les Étoiles ✨
First time hearing a fork accompanying an electric guitar lol
Video coming from dinner(fig) 😉
@@webrambler88 jus kidding. Thanks for uploading!
The fork player is not of the same level ...
I swear that cutlery is out of tune!
And badly syncopated too.😮🎉
The modern forks don't have the same tonesilver the older implements had.
…and you wonder why Jaco chose him to play in Trio with him when he was only ….seventeen years old!!!
Bireli is a genius.
Sublime. This is about the software not the hardware. You either have it or not. I certainly don’t have the processing power for sure.
fantastic!
Thank you for uploading!! Legendary!
Seriously what a player ❤
What a precious moment from 02:30 to 02:35. El hombre se da con cancha (maestro). Nice touch at the end.
Maestro

Saw that show, too. It was crazy great, and Bireli is from another galaxy.

A fantastic technique but wonderfully musical... Kept me guessing till the last note..
superlative.
oh, man i didn't even notice the fork until i read the comments, lol, but it's raining here, very loud, so hard to hear anything. lol
Superbe
Sounds like he’s using a “freeze”pedal. Amazing player.
yup, hah that was unexpected! hah!
the logic is like you can't wait to eat later because must be some kind of end of the game
i hear dishes.... is there someone eating ?
The f**** fork in the background
Fantastic playing! But the fork scratching on the plate in the background... That would be much better without it, it deservs the short break in dinner...
Anyone knows what instrument he's using?
Looks like a Benedetto Bravo?
It's like some kind of guitar
Definitely a guitar
Guitar for sure
@@jbsackthank you
Oh dear. Really?
Der Mann kann einfach Gitarre und Musik!
At the very least, tell us what guitar he's playing! 🙄
think is a sadowsky
It’s a Benedetto. But! It’s not about the guitar. It’s absolutely about the player
@jazzman1954 1000% He could play my very first guitar I bought as a kid and still sound fantastic. It's the player. 😊
Sa musique c'est essoufflé avec le temps dommage...
en fait on s'ennui, mais je pense que le guitariste aussi , vidéo pour rien , une de plus
Hahahhaaaha... Good one !
Amazing technique, horrible music
