I'm really liking the portrayal of post-Terror breakfast. The dripping chair, a couple of diners looking VERY different, and bread as far as the eye can see.
Having two autonomous bodies controlled by a single soul/mind is perhaps one of the best things to have in any mystery or infiltration or similar situation.
wild theory here, I was just remembering some info they gave us about Landlord, that he always seemed to be there at Stationary hill, giving the implication he is much older then a dog should be. He also has this hidden intelligence about him. I started thinking what if he is a human that got Terrored into a dog? But this show is all about their plot twists and since they haven't revealed landlord's true story yet, it's going to be a massive plot twist, so Landlord could be someone important and then I remembered thinking the whole murdering Maximillian Loxly seemed odd like the facts weren't adding up that maybe Lark didn't actually kill him then I thought what would be a bigger plot twist if Landlord was actually Maximillian? I have no proof or clues, just a hunch.
I feel like Tzila's either going to sneak on the ship with Saskia or turn herself in to the trust so they arrest her and take her back. There's no way she's staying here
Yup. Mother Cholesterol was mentioned in the Season 2 roundtable. (I'm on a bit of a Midst binge right now, so I literally just watched it twenty minutes ago, lol.) Edit: Wait, no, I realized just as I posted this that I'd missed the opportunity to say "in the Midst of a Midst binge", darnit!
Perfect timing! I had just fixed a slice of bread with peanut butter and orange marmalade prior to listening to this, and a cup of tea. So I felt very much a part of the breakfast crowd as I listened.
Huh, interesting... The Mothers are literally sustaining themselves on serving and helping, reminds me of a certain organisation that is also about "helping" and getting Valor for it. Come to think of it, actually, The Mothers could serve a perfect Valor generators for the Trust!
Everyone is saying that Tzila is going to stowaway, but honestly I feel like Landlord will probably lead her to Lark's ship and she'll just steal that.
Why was there a straggler Company ship? Why was there a straggler ship, Third Person??? Why waS THERE A STRAGGLER????? I've been watching Midst long enough to know that an innocuous background detail is NEVER just an innocuous background detail...
@jurekovacic1739 At the very end, just after Tzila storms off, the narrators describe "one last, straggling Company ship" crossing overhead. This means that, for some reason, one ship wasn't part of the first formation, it was lagging behind the others. That's the sort of detail that, in the context of Midst, is anything but meaningless. Was it delayed by something? Was it damaged somehow and struggling to keep up? Was it not part of the formation at all, but was instead a *rogue* ship, following the others? In other words, wHY WAS THERE A STRAGGLER, THIRD PERSON?????
@@rosevanzeeland904 OHHHHH, you ment a struggler not a "Struggler" like Bremen as a city and not Bremen the type of war friggate. I thought struggler was a type of Trust warship that I somehow missed. Thanx for clarificarion and yes, WHY IS THERE A STRUGGLER 3RD PERSON?!
The opening music is so happy! And Landlord! Oooo, look at all the terror induced attributes. This is surely to be a happy episode, a break from the stress. Ha hah ha....
Midst! Perhaps this is a stupid comment, and perhaps its also something written before, but I just want to write regardless. You guys are dope! and the story as far as I know is amazing, I just haven't got the time, but I will ABSOLUTLEY listen trough these all episodes! Love ya! Canon Confirmed: The French exist in the universe of Midst... and they also invented a toast for eating at breakfast! (Or French toast is just such a good recipe that it was worth teletherically sharing?)
So let's see. We have the deadly duo with the rock hard bread, people sitting down gagging on all the bread, being in a cabin and narrowly escaping what was....up, those mothers must be like a skeleton nosediving into the bread, screeching teletheric looking above for the dive bombing hooter ship, a black robed figure gliding among the patrons, and you're telling me nobody cares about the death of "batman"?? You gotta be crazy! Lol. Can you tell I haven't watched seasons 1 and 2 but am enjoying this season? Play is important for all of us. Looking forward to season 4 when you do get there. I'm sure it will be popular.
I... would LOVE an oven that actually contintuously produced bread. That'd be great. At least as long as it was only putting out the amount that i could eat at any one interval. Also, big lol to "Mother Cholesterol." Silly, but great.
I just had a thought. Not related to this episode, but what if Mock Weep is turning into a Mother! What if under their black cloaks they are all lanky, translucent, skeleton people. And now that the Trust has "reformed" his selfish ways. All he needs is another push to become a dedicated caregiver like them.

Can’t believe Xen brought out the BANJO. Midst season 3 is wild.
Saskia and her multiple self and points of views are becoming my favorite part of this story.
... and "eyebrowses"
Cannot wait for Saskias to become a sentient walkie-talkie 😂

I love this theory so much! What doesn’t add up about Maximillian’s death though?
Oooo i like this theory! That would be a pretty wild plot twist!
The most valorous dog in the cosmos! Such a good boy
Dang, that makes way too much sense.
Its wild that there's a SECOND theory about dogs becoming human and vice versa in this fandom.
it's so funny that basically everywhere untouched by the Trust is just kinda chilling.
I feel like Tzila's either going to sneak on the ship with Saskia or turn herself in to the trust so they arrest her and take her back. There's no way she's staying here
Oh, she's 100% going to be on Heironimous' ship, with or without her friends and Landlord, when he sets off.
Or steal Lark's ship that has been mentioned in the past two seasons, but never used. It's practically a Chekov's ship now.
Ngl an oven that constantly makes bread sounds kinda handy.
But where is it getting the ingredients? 🤔
No famine ever. It's an absolute godsend for the community

This episode made me wonder if there is an upper limit to how far Saskias can go from each other.
Yeah like are we looking at walkie talkies or short wave radio?
Or, and this would be like the best-case scenario, quantum entanglement. EDIT: as in FTL communications.
@@Landis963 I also thought that quantum entanglement might be the creators' inspiration for Saskia's situation.
