      Have you ever played a keeper? As a keeper your teammates need to tell you because from that far away you can't actually predict what the other guy's intentions are, especially when you're 14 and you think that nobody can kick that far

    • @nevs8997
      @nevs8997 3 ปีที่แล้ว +532

      @@chingatu6644 Yes I have played as a keeper, it’s not that hard to see what position he’s stood in even at the halfway line. He’s stood on his own and facing towards to opponents goal with a small run up from the ball. If you’re standing well away from your goal at any point as a keeper you’re asking for trouble. No excuse for it at any age of football.

    The kickoff is (well, was when I played in the 90's) considered an indirect kick. We did it to a team because the sunlight was favorable but had to roll the ball forward by another player before kicking it. They were our "rival" school. The next year, their field had been turned 90 degrees so that the evening sun did not blind "a keeper"...meaning their keeper.

      The reason for the two players at center circle is that to retain possession of the ball, teams play a pass backward. And because the law (in most cases-though not at the last Euros) says the first touch must go forward, the second player is there to pass the ball backwards.

      The first sight you see the number 19 on the jersey.
      19 is the deepest level of hell just for your soul (even deeper and worse than 18th level of hell most ppl knew). In the 19th level of hell, your soul will be tortured in the worst and the most painful way ever among all past and future souls ever existed, with this torture on your soul at 19th level of hell be forever nonstopping and lasting forever to infinity!

      Ball's in play when it's kicked and moves (used to be forward, now in any direction). You can't kick directly in from an indirect kick, nor can you throw it in - but from a kickoff, or from a direct kick? Sure, you can score.
      (I think you can't score from a goal kick, either, but it's been 15 years since I last refereed and I don't have a rulebook handy to verify.)

      There's no official sanction for this, so the kick would just have to be retaken. Could be a yellow card at the ref's discretion for delaying the restart, but that likely isn't happening on a first offense. I doubt his coach & teammates would be happy about that, though :p
