The high notes and key is something I don't even notice anymore like the first few listens.
It's just the song, and it's melodic as hell and quite enjoyable.
Loved that they pushed each other with the vocals.

English is the language both bands can speak. Yes to Band Maid normally sing in Japanese while The Warning normally sing in English even though their own language is Spanish.
English is a universal language that is understandable to most people.😊

one reactor said it sounds more like Band Maid than The Warning and they may have written the song before sharing and touring with The Warning
They said in an interview that Kanami came up with the foundation for the song and had The Warning listen to it. She deliberately tried to make a song that would bring out new sides of each band. The Warning and Band-Maid went back and forth making suggestions. Band-Maid recorded first, and The Warning later when they came to Japan. Kanami directed the performances. The Warning memorized the song listening to it over and over again and going through their parts in their heads on the plane.
I know almost nothing about The Warning band, so I’ll trust this statement 🙂

Actually, there are Warning fans complaining that it sounds like Band-Maid, too. But the majority of fans from both bands love the song, so mission accomplished, I’d say.
