Hey everyone! Welcome back, I am back today, with some RWBY CHIBI for you guys!!!! Today I watch eps 1 - 6. Guys, I have to tell you, this show HEALED MY SOUL. And don't mind me tearing up, I was just a bit overwhelmed by the utter cuteness, as well as the fact that NOTHING BAD EVER HAPPENED!!!! :D I don't even know where to start, the animation is so cute, the stories are hilarious and so fun, there's a loose continuity throughout which makes it even more fun, and the references are pretty spot on haha!!! I'm looking at YOU, shadow people!!!! Oh man, I cannot wait to see more. I'm just so happy to be watching this! I feel like Vol. 8 killed me and now I'm in the happy Chibi afterlife!!! :P Enjoy!!! ~ MH

You have no idea how big my smile was when that Pyrrha skit first aired after Volume 3. And the joke that came with it made me laugh so hard, lol.
I love the relationship between Blake and Zwei in Chibi. They are responsible for a lot of my favourite skits.

The 1st Season of RWBY Chibi aired post-Volume 3, Season 2 post-Volume 4 and Season 3 post-Volume 5. It would then seemingly be cancelled as CRWBY said they wanted to focus on the show proper however it was recently revived as being a section on Rooster Teeth's new anthology series Neon Konbini.
I believe the Neon Konbini episodes were basically the last of the Season 3 episodes. I don't think they are working on any new Chibi.
@@jonjohns8145 Rooster Teeth has said Neon Konbini will come back and I doubt they'll have it without more RWBY Chibi as RWBY Chibi is its selling point.

Honestly, watching RWBY Chibi immediately after v8 is kind of perfect.

Binge watching RWBY Chibi after the traumatic RWBY episodes is a perfect way to recharge your heart as fan of the show.

The poster is Achievement Hunter, the real life gamer group of Rooster Teeth (founded when they were just a TH-cam channel), but designed to look like a boy band poster as they were pretty much all guys back then. One is Michael, who is married to Lindsay (the voice of Ruby). Lindsay also had a small role on Gen:lock as well when they voiced the second pilot flying alongside Chase in the opening city battle.
to add to that Michael voices Sun in RWBY, also in that group are the voices of Junior (the club owner from the Yellow trailer) and Scarlet (The Red haired guy from team SSSN)

The poster was of Rooster Teeth’s gaming channel Achievement Hunter. Lindsay (Ruby) along with her husband Michael (Sun). Barbara’s (Yang) boyfriend Trevor is also in it. Professor Port VA was also in it until he was fired (we don’t talk about him anymore). Camp Camp is also owned by RT. A lot of RWBY’s VAs are in it.
As for who is in the poster in the start of Episode 6, Rooster Teeth has a Let's Play Channel called Achievement Hunter that's who is in that poster.

Yang's gauntlets wouldn't fire any more shots; either she was out of ammo, or they were jammed. Weiss taunts her for it, and Yang just punches her... cause, y'know, gauntlet.
That scene in season 1 where Blake is stocking the bookshelf with her collection, looks flustered and hides the book she's holding? Yeah, thats the book.
While it is completely different in both design and tone if you don’t mind machama then at some point I might recommend trying the show that started it all; red versus blue
Also the ruby joke with ball was because Lindsey loves cats
I see Den-O (Sword Form), Double (CycloneJoker), and Zero-One (Rising Hopper) on the shelf in the background and, as a _Kamen Rider_ fan, that makes me happy.
Edit: I just noticed 9 more _Kamen Rider_ action figures, smaller ones, on the shelf below. With the camera focused in the foreground (and the shadow cast by the upper shelf), I can only make out 5 of them for certain: a second Zero-One (still Rising Hopper), Build (RabbitTank), Ex-Aid (Action Gamer Level 2), Ghost (Ore Damashii), and Zi-O (base form). Behind them, I can also guesstimate the identities of 3 of the remaining four: Wizard (Flame Style), Drive (Type Speed), and a second Double (still CycloneJoker). And is that a Den-O (Sword Form) plushie on the table behind you?
Other stuff I see include a Sailor Moon figure, framed pictures of Penny and Pyrrha, a Penny plushie, a Tuxedo Kamen plushie, a small Pikachu, the Flash, a Yang figure, and Funko Pops of Sailor Moon, Tuxedo Kamen, Chibi Moon, the rest of the Inner Senshi, and Team RWBY.
Edit #2: MORE KAMEN RIDERS! 5 tiny figures under the Penny plushie! And of them I can make out three: Decade (base form), Zi-O (base form), and Fourze (Basestates).
Edit #3: I see now that the Den-O plushie is _not_ Den-O. It's Hello Kitty _cosplaying_ Den-O, which is at least equally cool.
I don’t mind 6 Episodes, i can’t for you to watch the Season 3 Finale.

Also you should totally watch Camp Camp though an advanced warning it's R-Rated as most of Rooster Teeth's non-RWBY shows are.

Chibi was a soothing balm after volume 3... it makes sense that it should do the same for volume 8. I just wish they'd release the soundtracks... anyway, it would surprise you to know how many people didn't realise Blake had both pairs of ears until now. Also, I wonder if they got the mud-treading in Cinder's backstory from this. Aaand that's the reaction we were waiting for. Chibi isn't canon, but bits of it *might* be.

I appreciate the non-spoilers for the RWBY proper series while we watch RWBY Chibi; it's a thing that bothered me with a lot of reactors in general spoiling things from other shows that they've watched. v.v
