Time 55:28... Be very careful moochdocking with a 15 amp "dog bone". If your camper has a 30 amp cord, the circuit breaker is sized to protect that heavy cord from overheating and fire. But if you convert to a 15 amp plug, that plug will not handle the 30 amps that you could draw. This is worse with a long box store orange extension cord to someones house/garage/barn. That extension cord is NOT protected in any way. Okay... You are thinking that the circuit breaker on the house would trip... Nope. The National Electric Code says that home wiring must be protected, but the house could be wired with wall wiring to handle 20 amps! The breaker on that circuit could be 20 amps!. The circuit breaker only protects the house from overcurrent/over heating. and no one should pull more than 15 amps from the outlets.... So.. There you are, pulling maybe 18 amps out of a small long cord that is listed for only 12 amps due to small wiring and there is nothing to protect you from burning that extension cord. You need to have fused protection on that extension cord or it can catch on fire. I use Victron Multiplus inverters/chargers/power boosters that can be set to limit the amount of power taken from the extension cord. I program them to about 7 amps and rely on the Multiplus to boost the power, or recharge the batteries. Without some sort of limiter, the extension cords will burn. I have witnessed 2 near misses. One was camping off grid with a generator and a small gauge wire extension. The second was plugged into a hay barn, but the cord was draped over a tractor instead of laying in the hay. Be careful out there.
As a truck driver I see way to many pickups towing campers to big for there truck to tow, also am a firm believer if you have a 30 foot or more motor home and pulling a trailer you should have a cdl and go to school to learn how to handle something that big
information correction - Yellowstone requires 25 yards (75 feet) from Bison and other animals, not 25 feet. Bears and wolves require 100 yards. Both distances are too close for my taste. I use the zoom function on my camera when shooting photos of wildlife. That keeps me a safe distance away.
I can't go camping without a mountain pie iron. (Or 4). Pizza mountain pies, Reuben or Rachel mountain pies. How about dessert mountain pies? Canned pie filling with our without a marshmallow inside, or pie filling with canned whipped icing on the outside.
A little feedback on the podcast: not a fan of the social media buzz nor the camping food recipes segments. I miss the off the beaten path segment from a few years ago!
Very interesting on all the information on towing, I learned a lot , listened to it 3x’s.

Avoid breaking the rear window on your tow vehicle when backing up a fifth wheel.
