I was looking for how you use the Abteilung 502 set "mapping techniques light and shadows". I already have all the mig products for armor weathering - and i mean ALL - the Russian AFV set, the Modern Russian armor and even the Yom kippur war set. None of them seem to be complete, not even the ones that say they are for "weathering green and yellow vehicles". ..the Vallejo set has a very versatile "wash for yellow vehicles" but all it does is help blur/darken camouflage stripes on a yellow base vehicle and helping them blend in just a little. In other words if you want a complete set to do even light weathering effects, you might want paints from several paint sets if you try to apply all of them at one time, it doesn't look right. And you might just actually want to use just ONE bottle from a set of 5 since you can't buy most of the weathering paints seperately...
Kinda confusing with the sequence of things, but still,a good job but I found trying to replicate what professional TH-camrs do on their models is way outta my league and probably most people's, we're not trying to do what is illustrated in the video, maybe take some of the techniques that are being used and apply em on our builds but I'm not even close to being as good as most of the people I watch on youtube, also don't have the money to spend on the top notch equipment that these people use either ✌️
No "equipment" used in this video. You slap on a dash of oil paint, then smooth with dry brush, or a little bit of thinner. There is no trick to it, other than not adding too much thinner. And if you do, you can do it again with less.
@@Jawsofhana”equipment” meaning anything they use, airbrush’s compressors etc,and I’m not referring to this one specific video, you don’t think these guys from MiG or whoever are using stuff off the shelf from hobby lobby? I don’t think so,they’ve probably got the best equipment money can buy

What about on a Yellow model? Like a german SWS/Halftrack... should i highlight with WHITE oil too????? Or should i use a light yellow?
Very impressive piece of work!!
Sir, I wish you would do a tutorial on how to paint and weather white UN vehicles.
what about another video about desert camo?
do you need to varnish the model first?
impressive
