Please build a couple of welded expanded steel cages as guards around those spinning wheels to keep operators from shirts or other loose clothing being grabbed and maiming or killing someone.

These poor 3rd world nations' people survive by being able to support their families and if it wasn't for their ingenious ways to manufacture "something" and keep prices low ...Otherwise the industrial manufacturing Conglomerates would "own the lives of the poor" as in the WEST where the lower 50% of the population ... is economically "enslaved" to the Conglomerates ... such as BIG Phama, China and the Banks etc.
-So I would prefer to see these poorer Nation ... survive as best as they could ... without inviting "OSHA and Conglomerates" into their daily lives.

@red-hatmike8113 I'm by no means a fan of OSHA, self-employed life-long, and have used plenty of ingenuity to get the job done myself. Still makes me wince seeing that guy shovel the plastic shards into the hopper with those flywheels spinning at x rpm right next to him. A wooden guard would be better than nothing. @@lionclaw4922 the chap that is feeding the grinder with the plastic might be the factory owner so if he doesn't want to bye himself some eye protection then that's his problem. You will find that in Pakistan and India it's only worldwide multi national that will supply ppe and that's simply because it is a image thing.
@@travelling_stephen his not the owner.you can see in the video that he was intructed to start pouring the powder.but the perosn who signals was not captured in camera.if you are the owner you will not be instructed you know what to do because you are working your own company.

Hi, good morning.
Sorry, I was not clear enough. I did not call myself horrible. The intent was that everything we see here is horrible. 2 huge flywheels turn and a worker in sandals (!) without any means of protection (or at least alert) is walking near the machine. With his hands he pushes scrap into a chopper. Not to mention that he inhales this plastic dust.
The production floor is dirty and filthy, literally calling the disaster to come: does not this interest them? Don't they care about the condition of the floor? That someone may slip and get hurt?
I can not understand: these people have not been able to progress a little bit?
After all, if God forbid something happens to him and he becomes disabled, who will support his family?
@@michaelsteinmann529 I've been to Pakistan and India many many times i love going around what I call back street workshops. And they have a completely different out look on life it's nothing like we do. They just get on and make do with their lot and they see very little wrong with the way they work and the conditions they are working in you have to remember when they go home unfortunately the conditions they live are not much different to that they work in. And as for safety they see no problem they know the dangers and basically they seem to be more alert to the danger. I was once told in India that if they were to be killed then simply it was their day to go and the young chap that was showing me around and translating couldn't believe the horror that I had at the answer I'd been given. Some parts are getting better and those with a good education are getting better jobs in places like call centres etc, but as in many part's of the world its a viscous circle and they expect its there way of life that what 99.9% of the western world cannot understand, they have nice shinny equipment and home to live but don't understand why these people live and work like they do. I think over 80% of the population lives in poverty. But having said all of this you will not meet a more kinder and generous people they will share their last bit of food with and if you say your OK they seem very offended so you take it but I always discreetly leave money for them.
