how I cope with failure

Hi guys this video was kind of difficult to make for me because it involved talking about stuff that I already suppressed LMAO. But I hope this helps anyone in the same position as me. No one is ever perfect so don't think your mistakes or failures define the rest of your life. I love you have an amazing rest of your day!

The difference between my generation and the young people of today is that we understood that everybody does not win and get a trophy. We understood what it meant to work hard and not be publicly acknowledged and rewarded just because we showed up. It also seems like because college is a lot more competitive and expensive now, there is a lot more pressure on these kids.
My advice to young people is: Find something you enjoy, something you are good at, and something that you can make an honest living at. Part of growing up is setting and meeting your own expectations, recognizing that we fail, and that “mastery of life springs from a thousand failures.”
Is it really necessary to go to “the best schools?” I think not. I opposed and defeated attorneys from the top Ivy League schools. Sure, they made more money but I loved my work and they were not as skilled as I was with a “2nd tier legal education.” You would be surprised how many young Big Law practitioners with Ivy League educations that I met who were unhappy.

ik im a nice person but I also don't want the purpose of this video to be used as a standard for other people to feel good about themselves. The entire purpose of this video is to widen students' lenses by reassuring them that failing is apart of learning and I hope I reached that goal by sharing my own experiences. k bye
