It's funny that they open up and introduce DBD to the viewers like it's an essay about a game the viewers are new to
Like there's probably only a couple thousand viewers on the Twitch channel for DBD. Nobody accidentally tunes into the beginning of an event stream for a game they've never heard of before lol
They do it so people who haven't had a first impression get one, player count is always moving and as is interest.
They upload the streams to youtube as well. People could click on the video without knowing what dbd is. Idk why, but they could

There's a lot Bhviour could do with DBD. I get you don't want to rush the game's lifespan but now is the perfect time to integrate new game modes, etc.

Honestly talking about pain in DBD, no the Halloween event won't cause that, that will be your two slugged team mates crawling to the hooked person to have a camp out with the killer and then yelling at you in post chat for not joining them. At least the event gives you something fun to look at it (if I even bother to play during it)
I love DBD, but Behavior is so incompetent they could fuck up a peanut butter sandwich.
Their bland corporate-speak is so transparent it really just ends up making me wonder why I bothered to check it out; just like their AMAs.
They should add an event game mode were you can play current and new events
