The part I noticed was when you had aura reading on her at one point where she was waiting at a check point without actually checking and just watching you through the walls and reacting accordingly
Also she wasn't hugging loops that tight at all. With how much distance she was getting it would suggest she had extremely tight god pathing but she doesn't. She took the short loop before she got down SUPER wide which you can see multiple times.
I once watched a guy playing Scratched Mirrors Myers on RPD and faced against a Dwight who turned on wallhacks. Literally the dwight would move left and right if the Myers made a move to get closer

Subtle cheaters are such little wastes of space. Regular cheating is bad enough but to be so cowardly to knowingly cheat and try to play it off as legit is cooked.

I hate how much of an ego these subtle cheaters have, too. They actually have the gall to trash talk and try to pretend they are good while giving themselves a huge advantage. Not to mention all the losers who play with them and protect them (and defend them). I actually respect the people who are blatant cheaters at this point cause at least they acknowledge they are bad.
I killed a speed cheating Yun Jin once who waited until endgame chat to angrily accuse me of wallhacks. I was playing as Scratched Mirror Myers on Midwich lol. Crazy.
Missed the part where she was perfectly mirroring his movements from behind a wall. You can see her parking at an unsafe part of the loop with I'm All Ears. She's stopping there because she also has wall hacks. She is reacting perfectly to changes in his pathing before she could even have seen the red stain. She knows he's doubling back on the pallet the moment he does it from an angle she couldn't have had.

Holy shit you're absolutely right she got so much distance there. She had been off screen for only 2 seconds, and survivors move at 4 meters per second. So she should've only had 8 meters on rapid. That is not even remotely close to 8 meters. It's easily like 16.
Yup, she played that pallet so bad but somehow got INSANE distance like she player the pallet and mind game PERFECTLY. Not to mention players getting out of the chase during looping is often such dead giveaway....like you can get lucky to play perfectly but to do that consistently is like naaah bruh, speedhacks and wallhacks.
There have been so many times I've felt that I'm losing my mind in this game. I wonder how many subtle cheaters I've gone up against.
It is kinda common honestly its sad you get it more in higher mmr. which can be hard to spot if they really good if they clear a corner super quick 9-10 it is subtle cheater I compare the survivors speeds and pathings. out of 10 games I play there will be at least I would find 6 or 7. not always because there are cracked survivors. speed ups and quicker gen speeds are the biggest ones used and wall hacks.

@@Dazeja5 I have caught reported and got confirmation they slip up at times like in rapids video I also got 4 blatant ones 2 days ago in one lobby. Got that confirmation in 4 hours afterwords. I didn't say everyone is but there are a lot you'd be surprised how many there are some are just very good at hiding it. Like I said the big ones are gen speeds and speeds or wall. I play scratch mirror myers at times for jokes and catch it. They don't even have a key I leave the area no one nearby they still look directly at me with anything to reveal me they don't check spot properly. Subtle cheaters are more common then blatant ones I also know majority of perks how they work and how long I play both sides more so killer but I do play a fair amount of survivor to know.
Gut feeling can be a pretty good indicator if you've been playing long enough. The game definitely has a specific pace and timings that just work if you do things right, and when things randomly feel off it's a good sign you're up against someone who is cheating.
Absolutely. When you've invested thousands of hours into a game you're likely to be intimately familiar with how it works. When something feels unusual or off, it's usually for good reason.
My brain must be wired weird because it looks super obvious to me at full speed but I can't see it at all on the slowmo
I also find it very sus that she took hyperfocus alone without any other supporting perks, it's extremely difficult to use hyperfocus alone without making any mistakes with the skill checks, but if you're a cheater you could just let the cheat hit the skill checks for you, and you do gen's significantly faster with only a single perk investment.
2:46 is also obvious, at the very end of the aura reading from I'm All Ears, she is going to the right, in the opposite direction to you, without any indication that you are going left

Sad part is, I've played against a subtle cheater lately too. Or welp, "subtle". I was running my full aura build on Huntress, it was Midwich, and this one guy always like, perfectly knew where I was at all time. No matter what I did, he was always going on the opposite side of me, even when he was inside and I was double-backing in the courtyard, he was matching my movements 1 for 1. This is just so sad man
Aura reading is the best way to notice and expose them. My scracthed mirror Myers got humiliated by a Kate but rewatching the wholething I confirmed my thoughts. I could never land a surprise hit on her. Then I stopped playing the game for hits and decided to stalk only her without getting too colse. She knew every single move and kept staring at me the whole time, moving herhead to where I was going even though there was walls between us all the time. She had ZERO aura reading perks and no keys. When I reported I actually got a feedback from BHVR. Thats why I love scratch mirror Myers. They dont expect me to just stop playing and record every action ofthem while stalking.
There’s a video by “SupaAlf” who went against a cheating Dwight that knew his exact location at all times when SupaAlf was also using scratch mirror myers in the RPD map. This is no surprised to me I go against killers who cheat as well. It’s cheaters on this game as the norm.
I can’t believe you didn’t notice she was cheating during that first loop she had you on. No survivor can move that fast and get that much distance against a 115 killer bro. Even when you rushed and you almost hit her at the pallet. You would’ve but you missed because of her speed hacks she had on. She moved away fast enough to evade your power.
I have been playing with full aura builds for a while and peoples jaws would drop to the floor if they realized how many subtle speedhackers there are... Always pushing that little bit extra behind the corner where (they think) you can't see them... Just enough distance to make it around the loop again and again. But yeh, not catching up and EVEN losing chase are dead give aways.
I'm calling it on Nancy, I notice it at her first loop alrdy, hope I'm not wrong :) ima keep watching now.
Edit: after the 2nd loop I'm pretty sure she is walling too.
Edit2: lol I was right... This is how easily a 2016 veteran can spot subtle cheaters ;) I called it on that first short loop alrdy :D

I've played for over a year and only seen 1 group of blatant cheaters (got a video of it on my channel), but there have been so many times when I know I'm not playing poorly, and survivors still win with suspicious ease. Then you get to the end-screen, and even though they were pumping out gens as if they had Prove Thyself and Hyperfocus, they had nothing but chase perks and no toolbox. The fact that these matches happen relatively rarely only makes them more suspicious.
When I'm All Ears activated and her aura is 100% watching you at 2:44 and perfectly reacting/moving accordingly to your pathing, through the 3 layers of solid obstacles, 100% sensed it in the Force that she was likely wallhacking as well.
What gets me about cheaters is they act so cocky like they've done something and will even gaslight you lol

I’ve had just a few killers who I thought might be cheating with no aura / scream perks, but automatically came to my location and just knew where I was. But I’m so reluctant to report it because I have no faith in bhvr. I reported a survivor and killer blatantly working together (with video evidence) and they did nothing. I honestly don’t have any faith that bhvr will do anything about this.

Bro i've noticed them return as well. I was playing pinhead and I downed a nancy and the yui on the team ran a little too fast to the hook to sabo it. And I even has forced hesitation on as well and she was in range. It looked so unnatural and all I could do was place Nancy back down and stare at the cheater before DCing. not even gonna try.

I was pretty sure I got a subtle cheating Legion the other day as well. I had half map distance away from them on Ormond. I was down edge mad side in bottom mid tile heading right, towards shack. They were in and/or right at the back entrance to main and they were on me and downed me before I even made it to the door of shack, which was edge map side aswell. And that whole match was full of stuff like that. Where it didn't seem to matter how much distance I had. They just seemed to always be able to get to me and my duo before we could make it to anything safe. Without using their power.

Like bro it's statistically unlikely as is that they'll have perfectly timed reactions to every double back and moonwalk. But homegirl is outright going way too fast around corners even when Rapid was just holding W too.
Just now noticed that! That was a Massive Blunder of Nancys Part, in most legit situations, that was either a Guaranteed hit or Pallet throw, since she almost ran into Rapid around the rock and she would have had very little time to Reach the pallet since he was close behind her, most survivors I face that gets into that situation either drop the pallet to prevent the hit or Risk not dropping it and getting hit and hope my lunge does not reach them. but the fact she was so confident she would not get hit and she had already cleared the pallet before rapids lunge could even reach the pallet.

I went against a Nancy not that long ago that was doing the exact same time. Predicted me perfectly every time and seemed faster than normal. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the same person lmao

yup, ran into one of these yesterday, I wouldn't be able to catch up and then when I KNOW I'm in range to get the hit, I miss slightly.
I have gotten so good at telling what subtle cheaters do- usually I find out before 3 gens pop- so I can DC calmly and not get tilted
I swear to god this Claudette dropped her medkit mid chase- not stopping any running- and expected me to just not notice. (Franklin's Demise)
I notified her team and... well... her friends who thought she was goated were not happy, and she was dead silent- they said they were all going to find a new swf partner too

Dc because of subtle hackers? Thats too much dude. Usually you can win still by completely ignoring them and tunnel their mate asap. Yes they will genrush you with 30-40% increased gen speed, but you still be able to at least secure 2 kills. Most of the time hackers will try to bait you on them, flashy save, run around and waste time no repairing, thats what you have to use to tunnel their teammates and regress some gens. And in the end, when its 1v2, his mate is slugged, he will eventually die if you find him ofc, or he will be forced to visibly show his cheats and get ez ban. Most of subtle hackers are ready to die if other option is to get revealed. They just do that for imaginary thoughts about how you as killer raged and felt outplayed by their "skill", thats how they stroke their ego

I’ve had a couple killers be suspicious the whole game so I’ve started running distortion and I’ve been pulled out of a locker with 3 tokens and full health idk how many times this week.
worse than the (subtle) cheaters is the current idgafa epidemic among survivors, in most of my games these days it really feels like my teammates play awful on purpose or simply team up with the killer

I feel like I've been dealing with subtle cheaters lately too. The shitiest part is that we would never know and bhvr seems to have went dark on the subject.
Yes me too. I have a lot of hours so I can tell what is normal and what is not. But in the past 2 months I have seen 3 survivors that I am almost positive were wallhacking. I only ever encountered 1 “subtle” cheater in the past, just obvious hackers, but I think subtle hackers are becoming a lot more common, which is worse in my opinion.
The mods/jannies on the steam forums always shuts down any threads complaining about cjeaters with the usual "ReCoRd It AnD SeND it To Us!"

You were also hugging walls a lot tighter than she was. If you check ~ 1:50 you can see her blood trails. She wasn't hugging the walls and out chasing you as a 115% killer and you lost chase.
I had a game recently where I was stunned back to back with head on, then when I checked perks after the match no one had it equipped. Cheaters are definitely back.
I was curious at 2:26 when she's suddenly thru the window with scratch marks going towards it. how did she get there? no vault notification.

Went against a Meg cheater that made me think I was going crazy. We were on one of the Preschool maps, and anytime I would hit her, she would go into a house and *disappear*. Her scratch marks and blood would go away, but she would also make zero sound. I kept thinking that she had Iron Will, or Quick and Quiet, and that I was just garbage, but I finally managed to corner her and down her. Guess what? HER BODY DISAPPEARED. There were no blood trails, nobody was around to ftp her, she just *vanished*. My only saving grace that kept her from making it out of that match alive was Vittorio, her last remaining teammate, who saw her cheating and refused to get her off hook. I rewarded him with some farming and hatch. Something is making cheaters come out of the woodworks lately, no clue what.
I just got back into dbd a few weeks ago. I was having great matches as killer, consistently getting 3-4ks. My last four matches have been filled with this bs. Impossible to catch survivors looping me for minutes. Just so frustrating.

My friends kept calling me paranoid for saying I go against many subtle cheaters. I showed them recordings I have of many subtle teacher speeding up right when they think I do not see them or just plain reading my moves when there is a wall between us and I am undetectable and they still didn't believe me thinking it may be server issues but this time ill send them your video to prove to them I was not paranoid about it. I am glad I can finally prove it but sad it also confirms these pesky losers are back..

Subtle cheaters have been rampant lately.
They been gone for a while but the last month or so they been on the rise.
Noticed it mostly with killers since I play survivor.
Killers catching up slightly too fast and making my timing off.
Then killers playing as if they have perks they don't have.
Glad it's not just me cause I was starting to doubt myself.
You can tell when you had aura reading on her she also had some kind of aura reading on you even though her perks aren’t any aura perks she was definitely hacking, she was also way too speedy
Had two games yesterday with the killer wall hacking. They knew where everyone was at on the map with 0 aura reading perks. Like how are you going to huntress snipe across the map at the very start without lethal pursuer on cold wind.
I had the same thing happen too. Just too sus with no conceivable explanation for how immediately found me (running distortion & calm spirit).
Yea I was playing legion and once they got to 3 gens a nancy somehow started speeding up to the point even legions run couldn't keep up
I have lots of these whileplaying as scracthed mirror Myers. Uusually when I get suspicious I just stop playing for hits and keep stalking the one I am sus about. They keep always wathing me and turning their heads/position because they know exactly where I am, even with walls between us. Detail: these dont even bring a key or aura reading perks. They dont even try to hide their shitty hacking bs.
Rapid when I'm all ears actives you could tell she had cheats too, cause he know which way you were coming from, they literally would have dropped the pallet if they didn't know where you were coming from

Got my first hacker as I was another survivor. Had bond and open handed and spotted a few weird things I thought might be lag at first, the ghost face just couldn't catch her. Sat and watched for awhile and started bodyblocking her. She progressively got more blatant sliding all over the ground but I managed to help the killer get her, her friend managed to slither through the exit gate though.
She wasn't subtle in the slightest. She clearly had the zoomies and knew what direction you were moving in during the jungle gym chase and the part where you had aura read on her made it even more obvious she was aura hacking.
I’ve been seeing it a lot in my games. On stream a month or two ago I was doing condemned sadako and had a subtle cheater kate

Its like they have codes for when to use it. When they are making turns so its harder to see. When you hit Ace you look down a bit sso its easier to miss too.

Yeah first thing I noticed was at 1:30, the nancy. You chase her through the T-L loop and you're a certain distance away. after pursuing and making a couple turns, she's the exact same distance from you as you see her on the outskirts of the loop. You didn't gain any distance on her at all! And I can only assume there's more evidence all throughout the video.
Oh yeah, I also remember facing a subtle cheater in The Game. He was just suspiciously fast, like, you could just tell you were gaining distance on him much slower than normal. But fortunately it didn't matter since the rest of the team was trash and they just weren't doing gens, so I had nearly broken every single pallet on the map before killing everyone.
Today I went across a cheater who could zoom around the map while in the dying state.
I had to chase him around as Nemesis despite the fact he was faster than I was even while dying in the ground.
I sadly get a lot of matches like this and same thing happens in end game chat where they taunt
tbh ive been playing long enough to know when a hit is going to be a hit w/ default speeds and there were a ton of moments where she out-sped a hit

You know, maybe DBD could add a new killer perk that would read something like *Speed kills* “during and 15 seconds after a survivor is moving over 100% speed they become exposed” meant to counter exhaust perks but would also guarantee insta kills on cheaters

I had a cheater a few days ago that literally wouldn’t get scanned by my drones on skull merchant. I know you can stand still or crouch to avoid it but she full force ran through them in front of me and never got scanned. I was wondering why she never got scanned but when I saw it I was like, no way a cheat like this exists?
i wonder if content creators make a big enough fuss to alarm future IP holders it will force them to fix the cheating problem

And whats funny is I was on a team with a BLATANT hacker, (speed hacking while crawling so i saw her doing it, teleporting so everyone saw, instant permenant ds despite never being hooked), and still denied it like "how am i cheating?" XD

I had a Nancy in my game and I think she was cheating. I ran rancour and she was the obsession but she wasn't exposed for some reason so when I hit her she didn't instantly go down... And the gates where opened.
