Looks great! I bet a 600 or 700Kv motor would be perfect but I know from experience they are difficult to find in that size. The frustration of scouring Aliexpress and finding every kind of spec BUT the one you need lol
At about 5 mins you find out the motor direction is wrong. You could just swap any 2 wires on the brushless motor to swap it's direction. Nice modification, I'm wondering about doing the same but keeping the gearbox
Hi, Not really, i tried actually. the car esc is not simmetrical. While the cheap3 euro it is, in fact there i just reversed the cables. Think, if you press the tx trigger to go backward, the esc will read a go back, so it applies brake at the first pull, then reverse at the second push. So the esc needs to know what is the “finger movement”, not sufficent to invert motor rotation. You should also have a tx with the “reverse”option
which motor setup would you recommend? the 2212 you showed in this video? or the 2430 or 2435 like other people put in them? Also why did you choose to delete the gearbox and how did it change the car?
It depends Mine 2212 is the cheapest approach, more efficient for batt saving, and you will save stripping gearbox issues The other could be more immediate in term of throttle response for drifting, because the inertia should be lower on the inrunner, i guess, bit i didn t try

Hi, sorry for the late reply. Yes 1000 to 930 will not change much.
