As someone who left El Salvador more than 35 years ago, is exactly what Nayib said regarding why people migrate. Who in their right mind will leave their family, their culture, their food, their friends, their jobs, the tropical weather, to come and live in countries with -10-40 degrees celcius, if they just had an opportunity back home? No one will. The majority of us left because of the civil war, poverty, lack of opportunity, and no hope for the poor. And the so called governments for the past 50 years all they've done is steal our country's resources and money. Therefore, I personally am very happy that Nayib is my elected president, and all I wish and want for my country is peace, and opportunity for my people.

En Centroamérica nunca hemos sido capaces de ser países desarrollados, porque los políticos siempre tuvieron mentalidades mezquinas y solo velaron por sus intereses ,eso aplica a los de derechoa e izquierda. El primer presidente de izquierda que tuvimos se llevó 380 millones de dólares y ahora huye como rata protegido por Daniel Ortega y su sucesor un ex comandante guerrillero al momento no se sabe con exactitud lo que se robó pero todos esos que antes robaban gallinas ahora son prominentes empresarios. Ahora dígame, acaso no tenemos derecho a soñar con tener un país digno donde podamos trabajar para no emigrar, acaso no podemos soñar con tener seguridad y una vida digna y muchas cosas más. I think he is because one he is compassionate and attached deeply to the country but also he sees the common sense in doing so. He nor the government can do all the work that needs to be done to make it all happen. Its the people and the pride of the people that will come out and add inspiration to doing a days work. Building a better building. Laying better pipes. Studying a little bit harder.Whatever labor you put forth. Knowing all the right things you do contribute and come back to you in creating a safe healthy happy land of people that simply feel pride in who they are. As someone who left El Salvador more than 35 years ago, is exactly what Nayib said regarding why people migrate. Who in their right mind will leave their family, their culture, their food, their friends, their jobs, the tropical weather, to come and live in countries with -10-40 degrees celcius, if they just had an opportunity back home? No one will. The majority of us left because of the civil war, poverty, lack of opportunity, and no hope for the poor. And the so called governments for the past 50 years all they've done is steal our country's resources and money. Therefore, I personally am very happy that Nayib is my elected president, and all I wish and want for my country is peace, and opportunity for my people.

@@edand987 respeto tu comentario, pero no viene al caso, sabes que Venezuela era una potencia de con gran cantidad de recursos y Chavez podía comprar a cualquier persona o país con petróleo y pudo reelegirse.
En Centroamérica nunca hemos sido capaces de ser países desarrollados, porque los políticos siempre tuvieron mentalidades mezquinas y solo velaron por sus intereses ,eso aplica a los de derechoa e izquierda.
Nayib no es de derecha ni de izquierda, por que esta comprobado que ambas mentalidades fracasaron, él solo quiere trabajar para que mi país salga del hoyo que lo tienen los corruptos.
El último presidente de derecha se robó 350 millones de dólares y la justicia sólo le puso 10 años de cárcel, pero el estado no podrá recuperar el dinero, su antecesor que también era de derecha, se robó otros cientos de millones y en el proceso murió aunque su cuerpo nadie lo vio , todos creemos que fue fingido y que vive en algún lugar con otra identidad.
El primer presidente de izquierda que tuvimos se llevó 380 millones de dólares y ahora huye como rata protegido por Daniel Ortega y su sucesor un ex comandante guerrillero al momento no se sabe con exactitud lo que se robó pero todos esos que antes robaban gallinas ahora son prominentes empresarios.
Ahora dígame, acaso no tenemos derecho a soñar con tener un país digno donde podamos trabajar para no emigrar, acaso no podemos soñar con tener seguridad y una vida digna y muchas cosas más.
A caso los hermanos Centroaméricanos no tienen derecho a soñar que podemos ser grandes, si eso es pecado de un dictador, yo con gusto lo apoyaré siempre. Saludos! !

I think he is because one he is compassionate and attached deeply to the country but also he sees the common sense in doing so. He nor the government can do all the work that needs to be done to make it all happen. Its the people and the pride of the people that will come out and add inspiration to doing a days work. Building a better building. Laying better pipes. Studying a little bit harder.Whatever labor you put forth. Knowing all the right things you do contribute and come back to you in creating a safe healthy happy land of people that simply feel pride in who they are. And of course the President will benefit because its his country too and a home he will be proud of because you the people made it this way.
