I have had the KS version of Pipeline for a while, and have yet to break it out. I am mainly a solo player, but was very intrigued with this game. Since I got it, I have been hesitant to break it open. This tutorial and playthrough have made me want to get it to the table. I love how this plays. Now to convince my family/friends to play... Nice job, Jon. Thanks
This was fantastic, what a wonderfully crunchy game. LOVE the variety in set up, scoring and the overall puzzle. Will now be enjoying the extended vid 😃
This was an amazing playthrough. I got really curious and watched the extended version of the playthrough. Thank you Jon! For such clear and crisp explanation as always and taking the effort to put in every aspect of the game and also making sure explaining the thought process behind each turn. Your videos are my go to for any complex game playthroughs before I play!
when you moved the pipe pieces for the length of blue and orange pipes for the white player their length was only 1 and you moved both pieces to #2. This happened @27:13 Great how to play though!
Thanks so much for the playthrough guide. My girlfriend and I played today, and we don't have the circular pipeline counters to use at the top of the player card like you do in your video. Did these come in an expansion or were they added on some other way?
whoa, I think my copy does not have those cute round markers to mark the longest pipe length. my manual just says to put cubes on that track of the player board.
Hello is it a good game? is it for experienced players? Because in italy I've read reviews that speak badly of it, they say it's a game full of gaps. Thanks
Played at origins.... the theme seem good by the graphics to me, are horrible. The pipeline looks like something out of waterworks board game; it does not look like a heavy industrial refinery pipes. Same with the storage tank components.
Game of the year for me. Hard to play, but so rewarding. Simple rules, but hard to plan well.

Best tutorial for Pipeline I've watched
This was the only rules explanation of the game that I understood. Good Job!
Fantastic explanation! Very clear and well organized. Thank you.

Great video, Jon!! Hopefully getting to play this tonight - I feel prepared, now!
Awesome, I hope you enjoyed it :)
@@JonGetsGames I did! Managed a competent second place behind an experienced player! Thanks!
Nice!
Fantastic video! I think I can play this now without even looking into the rulebook :)
Great explanation Jon. As your usual, you've made me want to get this game! Well, that's a nice problem to have
You really are the man! Thank you for this!

Hmm, I am honestly not sure.
@@JonGetsGames I've reached out to the manufacturer to hopefully get a set. So far no reply.
It's a pity you didnt do an extended playthrough. I didnt quite get how the machines worked.
Can I use the upgrade cards properties immediately?
Thanks for the good video

Huh, sorry about that. I filmed with a friend's Kickstarter copy, I guess that was a KS only component.
Nice tutorial!
PS: When I turn comments on, it suggest me it is Klingon speech :D dunno why.
Klingon subtitles are where I put any errors that are found after the video is published.
@@JonGetsGames thank you, I got it later :) quite unusual but smart !

I discussed my initial impressions of it here: th-cam.com/video/YBIPZpIrgaU/w-d-xo.html
Great play thru. Very clear and makers the game seem really simple. 😄
nive video
Does this game provide any commentary on fossil fuels? It seems odd for a game to glorify them in 2019.

@@samwise222 Thanks for the clarification. I was confused and thought this was a training video for pipeline workers.

I (and everyone I have played it with) enjoy the game BECAUSE of the vibrant colors and super clean graphics & iconography.
