      Mmmm, I was wandering, Juna. Do you have any guidelines when making a funny shirt, or points to consider? Like, ok I have a funny slogan, what would be good pointers for a good funny shirt design. Love your videos, my friend. Big fan of your work! 🙌

      Make sure it's readable and relatable to the audience that wants to buy it.... not every joke or funny saying will translate to a shirt

    Thank you for sharing this tutorial! It seems to be an excellent resource for diving into pattern design. I'm particularly intrigued by the emphasis on choosing background colors that complement the graphics. Could you please share if the tutorial delves into any color theory or offers tips on making these selections effectively? This could be a important aspect in creating visually appealing patterns.

      Massive thanks for putting this tutorial out there! It seriously looks like a goldmine for anyone eager to dive into pattern design. 🎨 What caught my attention big time is your focus on nailing those background colors to complement the graphics. 🌈 Do you happen to cover any color theory or pro tips in the tutorial for acing these choices? I've got a feeling this could play a huge role in crafting patterns that are an absolute feast for the eyes! 🤩

    Omg this was so helpful! I am often frustrated to find seamless patterns that i like for my designs (or they are very expensive to purchase). I thought about doing patterns for myself but i always had the impression it was very complicated and required photoshop or illustrator. I just followed your instructions on canva and had a great seamless pattern within a couple of minutes!!!!!! This opens a whole new world for me🎉🎉thank you❤

    Beautiful designs, is there a way to change the square or rectangular shape in Canvas? for t-shirts and look more natural? I have started to create some designs thanks to your tutorials, I already have them ready and I don't know how to upload them yet, please, if you have any video that shows us how to put our designs on t-shirts from Etsy stores or similar? thank you so much!

    Do we still need to upscale by 300 dpi if we set 4500*4500? Especially for large item like curtain or blanket. How do we do that for canva free? Thanks juna 😊

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  ปีที่แล้ว

      The 300dpi part doesn't really matter when you are measuring in pixels.....If it's 4500px x 5400 px it should be big enough for most products... I think there are some that are bigger on RedBubble

  • @TammyWinandArts

    Maybe it's just me, but I am having a really hard time getting the seamless tile to work. The main images that extend over the square box borders will not line up properly (they do not SNAP at 50% and there always ends up being a line or gap when I try to match them.
    The principle makes perfect sense, for some reason on my desktop they just will not line up right! Will see if it works better on ipad?

    • @DetourShirts

    Holding option or option and shift isn't working.. so I just duplicated it. But to move them together will not work. I could group it but not when there's more images because it grabs those too. Am I dumb? 🤷‍♀What am I doing wrong? Great vids btw. 😊

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Option + click+ drag is to duplicate..... Holding down shift lets you pick more than one.... so when you have the to in the right place click on one then hold shift to pick the other one then you can move them together.

    I make mine 4000x4000px...do I need to upsize the finish product? How do I make it 12x12 in the end? Just open a new canva page that's 12x12 and add it?

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  26 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      You don't have to if you are planning to repeat the pattern like in RedBubble. If you don't repeat the pattern you may need to. If you put a 4000px x 4000px file into a 12 in x 12 in space it will be 300dpi so you should be fine.
