Taormina is truly beautiful, the Pearl of Europe. Thank you.
Anna Abrams
Taormina is known correctly as ‘The Pearl of the Ionian’ (‘La perla dello Ionio’).
Excelent!!! Thank you!!!!
Great video, thank you!
i been there in 2013 ...oh
Almost unwatchable due to the grotesque mispronunciation of the name Taormina: it is not pronounced ‘terra-mina’.
‘God said...’ ??? surely you mean Goethe (correctly pronounced as two syllables, with a ‘t’ sound); the American habit of turning ‘t’ into ‘d’ is not always helpful when transferred to the pronunciation of European languages.
‘Tah-orr-mee-nah’ is not the pearl of Europe, it is the ‘pearl of the Ionian’.
God? Goth? Almost as bad a pronunciation as American universities teach when they instruct students to pronounce Goethe "Gorthe." UGH!!!
get a life, she not giving us an English lesson, you morons, she is showcasing Taormina. She did an excellent job as I have been there 2 summers in a row to many of the paces she showed on her video. BRAVO !!!!! thank you for bringing back memories of this gorgeuos must see place👏👏👏
Joesy Fuda It is no showcase when full of errors. She clearly has never heard of Goethe and it is not the pearl of Europe. If you are posting a vlog of a place, it is not too much to ask that at least some attempt has been made to pronounce the name correctly.
So how do you pronounce it?
T Lee Correctly; I took the trouble to learn the correct pronunciation - it is not difficult.
