good/helpful instruction - will be taking my first adult Clarinet lesson a week from now. it would have been even better if camera zoomed in to show better the tiny sliver of the mouthpiece above the reed but good enough. 'Saliva', 'spit', and 'spittum' are synonyms but I can't help picturing 'spit' in it's nastier version that we cough up with phlegm (noun) and ejected spit out (verb) so I'll use the word 'saliva' for the mild watery liquid in our mouth that gets on the reed.....haha.
Here is another instruction video that has additional interesting info such as putting the mouthpiece in the barrel first which gives you more to work with and how he pull the ligature down but adjusts/guides the reed practically even at the top. th-cam.com/video/1g3_xI7tMUw/w-d-xo.html
