Thanks for doing this! The templates are great I watched other videos for routing, but they were for different GGD kits and not everything translated exactly the same.
I used your routing template and created my own mapping so that I could import midi drums from gpx files, but I’m getting no sound. Any ideas why? Do I need to change anything else in settings? I just used the general standard midi map.
Join discord will probably make it easier to go back and forth. Try the gm midi map inside okw pop punk, could help most of the way. I’ve been using my own midi map conversion method in reaper, I can share it with you in discord. Will probably do a video on it soon but I just want to use it for a couple months to make sure it’s rock solid
2 questions. Did you use the controlhub with the tracer you have to rent or the one you buy out one without it? And the tonex do you need to own it to get the mirror profiles or can you get it from the free option?
I had a controlhub subscription and this was before the Tracer stuff so it was probably something like Tom Lord Alge pack. ToneX is software you have to buy from IK and you can browse their ecosystem of downloadable tones OR you can buy 3rd party packs. MirrorProfiles has free and paid ones so if you do get ToneX then checkout his free and paid ones I guess. Instead of ToneX you can also check out NAM which is 100% free. MirrorProfiles also has free & paid NAM profiles (tonehunt for free, mirrorprofiles website for paid stuff).
