Was hoping I was gonna be able to upgrade my 96 to a 103 or 110 but money so tight right now with everything being so expensive hoping to see u finish it I’m definitely gonna get mine done eventually
@@robertbarnhardt8201 last year I installed Andrews 48h cams. Replaced cam bearings, tensioners, and installed a little stiffer spring in the oil pump. When I make the next video, which shouldn’t be too much longer…it’s officially snowing…I will explain all that as well.
@@garrett4532 the rings I bought from Hastings, were pre gapped. However, I did measure them in the cylinder bore against the stock rings. I can’t remember the measurements right off, but they were close. I’ve kicked myself several times for not showing that in the video.
@@garrett4532 something else that I didn’t show was, before I disassembled the heads, I poured gas in the chambers, to make sure no valves was leaking. I didn’t put that in a video either, and kick myself over that as well. It’s things that need to be shown and addressed.

Money is tight on everyone right now. That’s the main reason I decided to do a budget build.
