  • After getting Dara the A2 back on the road, I noticed the brake pedal feel was awful with too much travel. I re-bleed the brakes in this video to try and fix the problem.

Nice video, i have an A2 and will be doing this soon. Few points though. You dont need those brake spanners, those are for pipes/ferrules like the pipe into the caliper where the slot in the spanner needs to pass over the pipe. For a nipple you should use a normal good quality ring spanner.
In terms of the bleeding order i think it should be longest pipes first so NSR, OSR, NSF, OSF. I think this is because more air can lurk in the longest line, but maybe thats specific to press-release bleeding?
Lastly, if you got air in that soon after an earlier bleed, either you introduced some by letting the reservoir run dry when bleeding (been there done that) or your master cylinder has a problem.
    Thanks for making this content.

I’ve just done my A2. Exactly as you say. Furthest from brake fluid reservoir first.
Wish I had one of those Sealey kits.

Thank you for the comment, good advice on the sequence. I don't think I introduced air by letting the system run dry, but will check the master cylinder. After the job, the braking was a lot more positive.

Glad to hear all is ok. Don't stop doing your videos. I find them entertaining and very informative. Many thanks.

Normally you start at the wheel furthest away from the cylinder, to the nearest. Other than that good video

Nice video, but, with the sealey pressure bleeder, a maximum of 10-15psi max is recommended, otherwise you risk blowing the master cylinder seals and turning them inside out. 20psi is too high imho.

Used a gunson pressure bleeder last weekend on the A2. It failed. Did it manually. Pretty straightforward
