Thank you for your great video. I think the Stihl BG86C leaf blowers are probably the most popular leaf blower on the market. I see many professionals and domestic gardens using these particular blowers. I have actually owned this particular and used many! So far I have never ever experienced a problem with any of these particular models. I'm currently using a Stihl backpack BR 600 blower, which is a great machine, I hope to upgrade to the BR 800 soon.
Great vid, got one myself just some stats for you, with the tapered tube the blow speed is 269mph and with the open tube, for clearing grass clippings and debris you get 162mph
Wow, she took off at 4:25 ( haha ). I've just bought one to replace a still running, 27 year old BG75 that my son 'aquired' from me for his lawns. The stickers on mine say ' Made in USA from US and foreign parts '.....hmmm. Stihl, if it gives me half the life span of the old BG75, i'll be happy.
My only complaint is the vacuum part is pretty much useless if you have trees that drop anything but leaves. I got one, but have pinecones. The impeller jams on every one. Kinda sad about that. Other than that, it works great.
Jamie Eyre echo are better because with strip they r good but with there smaller machines they don't put as much time in to them as echo who take there time with all there machines and Honda r very goo
It stands for "Conformité Européenne". The mark proves that the product holds safety, health, and environmental protection requirements required in the European Economic Area (EEA). Has nothing to do with Chinese export.
The CE logo as shown here means is complies with EU regulations. If the C and E are closer together then it's not. This is referred to as Chinese Export.
Oh ok. Some people on my chinese chainsaw video said it was a chinese export. That's what made me think this was one also. Now I know the difference. Thanks.
You'd be better off mulching those leaves into the lawn with your mower. Quicker, quieter and better for the soil. You'd get improved drainage too. Sorry to hear your British accent - I guess they have made it to the UK. They weren't common when I left 20 years ago. How sad. Hope you give it up -- leaf blowers are neighborhood horrors.

I bought one a couple of weeks ago, good tool mine works well.
Sweet blower!
I love the change of sound when you double the speed.
I have the 86 with the easy start auto choke.

He's like the hulk lol
My dad is a landscaper and he has had his shtill blowers for about 10 years and still start first pull.
Stihl*
Yes they are really well made.
He also has about 15 chainsaws which are about 6-10 years old and the same story start first pull. #Stihlforthewin lol
Great video by the way, very well executed with good camera angles.
Thanks :)

Also looking forward to the release of fs17. keep up the good work Daggerwin/machine restorer.

Do whtevr u works for you but I think Stihl recommends the flat nozzle for paved surfaces, etc and the round ozzle for uneven for leaves and whatnot.
stihl are the best no point with no other makes
Jamie Eyre Honda or echo are just as good
Nufc all the way echo is junk but I have no experience with Honda
Jamie Eyre echo are better because with strip they r good but with there smaller machines they don't put as much time in to them as echo who take there time with all there machines and Honda r very goo
Ethan crag 13 B
Husqvarna and Stihl are the best out there... Honda are good but they’re cheap quality

Lovely dagger :D we really need one of those here xD
Hi mate I have the bg 86 CE blower but it has peaked in I need a new one should I get the same one again or a different one grate video thanks Jacob
Nice leaf blower. I thought stihl products were made in the USA. I see that classic CE on the bottom of the blower which means chinese export.
I think this one was manufactured in Germany
CE means that is complies with European regulations, not Chinese Export.

We have a stihl bg 55 from 2003 and you don't have to prime or choke it to start and starts on first pull
stihl is the best brand in the world
Dalton Everts Honda and echo are just as good
Echo is junk and will wear out. I just had another one break, this time it was the ignition. The part is $80 US so I just bought a stihl 86.
I got one of these in 2 months ago it keeps are yard at the end of the day cleaning up straw

I pick up leaves with the pickup back on the countax

You missed 2 leaves.

I have a Stihl br 600
Jack Pork lawn care mn
You sound like dagger win
Prime it 5 times
Nice video, but it is pronounced steel
Never heard anyone call it that before.
Huh, well that might be a American thing
It is pronounced still not steel
You are correct. It says how the name's pronounced on their FAQ section. www.stihlusa.com/faq/general/
I think it is only called steel in the US, it is pronounced still on the tv ads in the UK
You should have used your trailer and bought a leaf blower that blew and sucked
