with SDF's "Vision" the best way to play rogue this season is to click that button at the bottom right which says choose character, then make yourself a fighter /barbarian or ranger

when dual wielding daggers, specially rondel + stiletto, a good moveset is to hold both right and left mouse button, the 2 first attacks will be rondel and third stiletto, but for some reason the stiletto attack is faster, making a good combo, i always do a 3 attack combo and evade with tumbling and repeat
I prefer cutthroat and rupture. Nothing more satisfying than seeing a ranger trying to shotgun and then suddenly can't while he gets beaten to death, or a druid unable to switch forms
@@ballzsack1640 funny you mention that. i was just killing hr troll and looting the horde when a ranger puts a trap outside the double stone door. i jump over the trap and start stabbing and i knew i had him dead to rights even though he hit me like twice already, but then he shotgunned his arrows so yea.. might start trying cutthroat rupture.
most people are happy with the revert XD it a minority that liked it before , to those people just go play chivalry or mordhau. you get the same if not better melee combat WITH respawns you get all the skill expression you want , but DnD is a duegon crawler first which has loot and loot needs to be loot not some plain loadout. Dont want to get gear checked? then perhaps grind and save up for a good kit and snowball from there to build a stash rather than invalidating those who actually play the game.
So in the end, you have to build specific armor pen into a build to do almost the same dmg as weakpoint? the problem is that armor pen is a % of a %. After the PDR I dont know the exact numbers but everything below 55% PDR i belive rupture was better?
My understanding was weak point doesn’t factor in reduced armor damage on the first hit where it gets applied. Haven’t double checked it on wiki but that alone is a dealbreaker imo
Compared to phys the scaling is so so negligible, it’s always better to use true unless you’re on a budget, add phys is better then nothing but true is still better across the board
Weakpoint is such trash so i can understand this armor pen build. The fact that weakpoint doesnt apply on the first hit is a CRIME and makes it not fit with rogues. Honestly thrust is just as good as WP.
I planned on doing a video like this 2 months ago, then I stopped playing Dark and Darker lol. I still like it for the versatility, can deal with pretty much any matchup
I play under 124 gs and thanks to hp being reduced i run kit for 4/5 k gold and i Nuke everything lol if i atleast ambush them cuz i play landmine🤷🏼♂️ sttileto can do 55 dmg on headahot 2 times and 3 attack is 63 or som like that i nuked 150 hp barb on 4 hit and 2 were headahots cuz im good landing them but i didnt come to cenario that i fucked my hide up and had to play kite sou idk how that would work xd stacked 30 strenght no boots if i find boots its like 35 and alooot tru phy power from start i was thinkin more for cut pen but when hp is that low fights end too fast and its worthless sou i used dagger mastery but new patch came like a day ago idk if they fixed hp too
Ngl i like the build but the only thing i dislike is you are using "hide" when u play solo. It's not good when u are "solo" and it's not needed in solo's! Your ms is also ass because most skilled players are capped around 325 ms. - Why? Because the only thing which should be able to kill you as a solo rogue is another rogue using landmine build. All the other classes is crap in solo against a good skilled rogue player.
yeah and i cooked up this super unique build that nobody's done before True shot. Ranger. Molotov Only. ArsonistAndy. It sucks you can't kill anyone. anything. nothing. It's awful. it's so bad. oh my god.
i never said weakpoint isn't good, i said rupture with armor pen can mostly compete with it while being better against non-pdr. if you JUST want to kill PDR faster, weakpoint is better because it works on clerics. in trios, weakpoint is better. in solos, rupture is way more versatile

Add phys is much better when dealing with armor pen, since your headshots will scale higher.
Compared to phys the scaling is so so negligible, it’s always better to use true unless you’re on a budget, add phys is better then nothing but true is still better across the board
