    Great review as always, Paul.
    I've looked at my Art Edition once and put away carefully.
    I've pre-ordered the smaller Trade Edition which I'll then use as my regular read so as to keep the Art Edition immaculate.
    It's beautifully presented by Taschen and I want it to stay that way.
    A quality collection piece 👌

    Hi Paul, at 4:51 in the video you mention there is an XXL version of this book. Do you mean to say that there is a version of the book (with the No Time to Die updates) that is larger than the book that comes in the Art Edition (which measures 41.1 x 30 cm [16.2 x 11.8 in.])?

    • @wordsmithpd
      @wordsmithpd  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is no bigger book than the XXL (41x30cm).
      As per the video, the XXL Art Edition contains an XXL book, a clamshell case, and the photo.
      There was also an XXL book released on its own, but is now out of print.
      There is now a smaller Trade Edition (33x24cm) which is on sale this weekend directly from TASCHEN.
      Hope that clarifies things for you.

      @@wordsmithpd Yes, that clarifies things. Thank you Paul, appreciate the thorough explanation - and thank you for your work on creating such an incredible book!

    Hi Paul.
    did the "Spectre" Chapter of this "No Time to Die" Edition differ in any way from your previous red copy?
    I think you said you rewrote that chapter for the "No Time to Die" Edition,i can't remember.
    The Chapter on filming "No Time to Die" really gives a great insight into what went into filming Daniel's final outing as James Bond.
    I've read another making of book about the filming of "No Time to Die" and your chapter gives a much more in depth description of the thinking behind this film, filming schedule etc.
    Awesome!👏

      Hi Brett,
      Yes, the Spectre chapter in the NTTD edition includes information about an earlier draft, where Bond finds out he has a daughter. It was not included in the Spectre edition since the producers wanted to keep the idea for NTTD. Happy to hear you enjoyed the NTTD chapter. best, paul

    Hi Paul,
    Is there any difference text- and picture-wise between XXL anrd Regular version?
    Like you pointed out about the Star Wars books
    My regular version is on its way now, due to arrive exactly on X-mas day!

      The No Time to Die XXL and Trade editions are identical in text and images. Hope you enjoy it!

    The XXL Edition and Art Edition has a cloth like black material on the spine of the book.
    The Trade Edition doesn't have this,I assume you keep costa down,it's more of a plastic material

    • @wordsmithpd
      @wordsmithpd  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The additional cost of the more expensive editions allows more expensive materials to be used in the production of the books.
