how long did the translations take on the Greek side? Please I'm trying to work timing out here, we get married around the 7th of September so would I get an appointment around June the 7th for the CNI with the registry office?
Did you have to also get an Affidavit of Free to Marry? My Santorini wedding planner said that we need this, and that it needs an Apostille stamp. Then I read online at the US Embassy in Greece website that we need to get this document from the US Embassy in Athens. Also- did you have to get these documents certified at the Greek Embassy/Consulate in your country?
Congratulations!! 🥰
Thank you so much!!

Is there a follow up for after the wedding, how you did the documents and the costs. I’m getting married in Greece next year

Hey - So you had x2 CNI's ? I thought it would be just the one for both yourself and the groom, no?
Hi, it’s one each! It’s the one appointment you go to together but you each pay an individual fee and you get one certificate each x
Do the passport copies need to be in black and white, or color copies?
I think full colour.... not totally sure though, but we sent ours in in full colour!! Hope this helps and good luck with your planning!!
