I've always related mana-zone to being inspired by sage mode from naruto, where instead of using the power within yourself, you use the power of nature. I'm sure sage techs aren't unique either, probably roots back to buddhism or something.
@SketchyPololo Hmm, I don't think mana zone was inspired by sage mode or can really be compared given its applications. The only thing they have in common is being naturally found in the environment, but mana exist in the natural environment + more. Tabata named Bleach as one of Black Clover's main influences and Bleach has a substance/phenomenon much more analogous/similar to mana manipulation. Both reishi and mana are the main component of souls in their respective verses and exist within souls + the natural world. In Bleach reishi is a source of [霊力 reiyoku] aka spiritual power while in BC mana is the source of [魔力 maryoku] aka magic power. Both spiritual power and magic power are sourced from the souls and can mold fundamental components such as mana and reishi into constructs. Reishi manipulation allows Shingami and Quincies to walk on air and quincies can walk on air + mold constructs from reishi around them just like mana manipulation allows mana zone users to walk on air and spawn attacks/constructs from the mana gathered from their surrounding environment. Sage mode simply uses natural energy from the environment to change the quality of one's chakra into senjutsu chakra which provides various perks other than amplifying one's oen energy usage. It also causes one to undergo physiological changes unlike mana manipulation and is dangerous for those not trained to use. Mana is safe for everyone and primarily provides an external boost just like reishi. So I'd day mana us much more similar to reishi then Naruto energy given how reishi and mana are present in all things up like natural energy.

IDK) since she's strong enough to even give Julius a run for his money, and as a result, Julius is one of the few people she respects. I just love how one-sided this fight is. "Next. Next. Next. Is that all you got? Time to pulverize." You're not ready for the storm that's a-coming.
At this point of the story, she is the strongest yes. Later on, a case could be made for few other captains, but she still remains at the very top of the list nevertheless.
If ever there was a time to drop a dual episode, the next 2 would be a great opportunity. I understand if your schedule can't allow it, but its worth mentioning.

Cool drop, and IIRC mana zone came out before domain expansion. But yeah these OAE types abilities do tend to be common among many manga/anime.
