That is very in-depth wow! I dont have the time to set up camera panning but I have always found: Setting my FOV to 30 and adding shaders tends to make flat surfaces and details stand out more often than not. (Kinda like at 9:00 but without you moving so you got it down) A lot of those still-frame marvels you see are made in 30 FOV with some texture pack/shader mod on.
Watched it. Thanks for the tutorial! 😃 I've never made a video of my gameplay, but I'd love to. I tried the Replay mod once and I was totally lost. Had no clue what to do. I'm going to try Flashback. Could you share the download link, please?
I'm really enjoying this series! 😊Thanks for sharing a bit of your behind the scenes workflow. I've been having so much fun playing around with Flashback since it came out. It's nice to see how others are using it.
Thanks for this tutorial. I would love to see more of this! But I worry about how the algorithm will treat you if people fall off watching your videos at a certain point. I don't know, but maybe consider having any tutorial-type videos separate? Just a thought.
It's super interesting to see the editor side of your videos! I've been planning to do my own channel/stream, and I'm always here for learning. Thank you!
I probably could have done a better job with the “tutorial”, but I guess it really wasn’t ever supposed to be Flashback 101 or anything like that. Just my process.
Flashback ought to sponsor you. I don't make vids, but it was fascinating to watch. You made it simple to understand and now I almost want to get it just to play around with the settings. Thank you for the TaterTaught time 😊
Really love the addition of the tutorial at the end of the video, been loving this series so far. Just recently found your channel this week and been enjoying this very much. I’ve always hated the jungle and dreaded ever building there, but watching this series so far definitely has me inspired to do so in my world. Cheers!
Flashback looks awesome! I’ve only ever used replay mod for cinematic shots, but now I’m definitely going to try this! Another great video! Keep up the great work! ❤
Omg I love love love ur builds I have watch plenty of Minecraft long plays and ur builds are my favorite the bridges for the villagers came out so good and this build for the animals or horses amazing something about the dark oak and oak and deep slate wow 🤯 😻😻😻😻😻😻🙌🏼
I absolutely love your intros and scenery travels. It's beautiful and lovely. Builds are awesome and just the right size. I really enjoy watching your videos and I wouldn't ask for any change. Thank you for taking time to show how you edit, Hope you and your family have a wonderful time.
Thankyou for the video & thankyou for explaining how to do your cinematic shots, I've been doing them for awhile but it's always nice to learn how others are doing them & I learned a few tricks as well so thankyou
I remember first watching you SLP’s a few years back when u we’re new to the game, you’ve came a long way I see😎 loving the series so far dude 👍 I think you should do some renovations to the village and build a big castle like wall around it so it’s like a small functional city for the villagers😎 just an idea!
Something that I'm curious about is how long your projects take. I'd be glad if you think of it to say how long you spending on a building project, a mining session, or even a breeding project. It would help me as I think, "Huh, I wonder if I'd have time to do something like that." Thanks for a fun video.
I don’t know if I’ve really thought about it because I usually only play for 10-30 minutes at a time and I rarely finish anything in one session. The bridge/dock project in this video, for example, probably took about an hour total and I had to stop periodically to gather wood, make packed mud, and make lanterns. Probably closer to an hour and a half. Exploration trips are usually 1-2 hours. I rarely go mining for more than an hour. I really don’t like to do much “off camera”, even though I end up cutting the majority of the boring parts out.
"..horse...areas?" I think you're talking about a midden heap, otherwise known as a manure pile~ That's be out back of the barn, a little ways off; no stable worth their tack and feed would let dung build up in the stalls. Source: spent a summer mucking stalls as a teen. 😅
Ha! Well you see.. it just me here and between the parrots droppings, nameless dog presents, and I don’t even want to mention the issues I have cleaning up after double-stuffed.. let’s just say the horse stalls might be a little neglected at times.
😢oh, the horror. Let the horsies live; catch and release! I'm sure there's a reason, but my heart breaks just a little. Not for the wandering merchant tho. Hmm, woder what that says about me? Enjoying the series.😊😊
Thank you so much for sharing how you film your intros! I wish you had shown how you turn your shaders on and off. I installed Replay but even after watching some tutorials it was too hard for me! lol The Flashback app looks so much easier! I'll have to try it out. Do you use Modrinth? What about OBS? What type of mic do you use? I have never recorded myself playing Minecraft but I've been thinking about trying. Maybe one day! lol
Thanks for the questions! I use OBS to record/stream, Davinci Resolve to edit, and I have a really old Toner podcasting mic (with some OBS filters and EQ it’s good enough for me). I manage all my mods individually, but I know many people really like using the CurseForge or Mondrinth apps to manage mods.
@@TaterVater5 Thanks for sharing! What helps to eliminate the keyboard clicking sounds? I did a test recording myself play and I could hear all the keyboard clicks. I was only using the mic from my laptop so maybe that was the issue. lol
Yeah it’s a battle and I don’t know if it’s possible to win with the integrated mic. I still have mouse clicks in my audio but aside from maybe getting a new mouse at some point I’ve given up on it. When you do get an external mic you can turn down the gain at your operating system (Windows/Mac/Linux) and then turn it back up in OBS. What that essentially does is shrink the “bubble” around your mic where it picks up sound, then increases the volume of what does get picked up.
Oh I’m sure I’ve only scratched the surface lol. When I first started my channel the majority of my audience was other creators, so I’m super happy to help!
Using the netherite depends... If you're planning to mine for more of it, it would be best to upgrade both pickaxes to max out the durability. Otherwise I'd only use it based on most used AND already perfect enchanted equipment. Would be a shame to slap netherite on something and later you get the "too expensive" text trying to put on the last missing enchantment.
The math is funky, but you do get more protection for the specific damage types from the specific protections. Regular protection just gives you an all around protection. Hope some of that made sense.
Yeah. Like say fire protection 4 does 80% protection.. normal protection 4 probably does like 40 or 50% for fire, blast, and projectile, while giving 80% for melee. I always go full protection 4 for everything but my nether hat.
Really old CPU (AMD FX-8350), 32GB RAM, NVIDIA RTX 3050 graphics card. I'm looking to upgrade my CPU but that will also require replacing my mobo and RAM, and probably cooling system.
Do you plan on watching how I do the cinematic intros at the end of the video? Do you have a better way of doing stuff like that?
Heck yeah! I requested this and I'm so excited to learn what you do!

As someone who was really heavy into RM, I don’t think I’ll ever go back.
Nooks do still exist. I just happen to have gone to Barnes & Noble on Sunday and saw them 😊. Love the barn and the bridge and dock area!

Cucumber and nugget? Please tell me we name them ALL for foods 😂

@@TaterVater5idk, since you have mending on everything, personally, I’d choose sword and chest plate for damage/damage control
