Cooked a whole 1.5 KG chicken in under 45 minutes - came out browned and crispy whilst remaining succulent - just bought my son one - excellent appliance!
When microwaves first came out, people had no clue how to use them. There were loads of stories of people treating them like an oven and microwaving a chicken for two hours and being shocked when it cremated it. This is the air fryer equivalent. The difference is that back then they didn't have TH-cam with 100 videos on how to setup and use a new appliance, so looking at the manual for 10 seconds then winging it is just embarrassingly lazy. This is less of a review, more of a warning about what'll happen if you can't be arsed to watch an air fryer 101 video.
I got mine yesterday. The manual is junk. Touch screen is OK, need to hold my finger on the screen for what seems a second or two. Noise, it's not that bad l thought. I did chips and a gammon steak last night, it took 30minutes. No quicker than my deep fat fryer and frying pan. And, l was a bit disappointed in the results. It does need a bit of oil apparently so will give chips another go because l got bad advice not to use a bit of oil. The biggest advantage for owning one is reducing mess in the kitchen and cleaning the pan as l see it. Deep fat fryers are very messy and so are frying pans. One other possible use is on a camping holiday, motorhome, van living, at work or where you might use a generator an air fryer would be a great cooker! So, my conclusion it's useful and clean but not the revolution in cooking some people claim they are. Another advantage.
Im glad I watched this cause its me, I have heard that the manual is pretty useless so Im going to wing it as you say. This is my 4th air fryer I have health problems and burnt the bottom of the previous 3, so I have an idea but you going through the setup priceless for me and I think it is a bit of try and get used to the setting that suits you, thank you for getting me started. Fingers crossed its steak and chips tonight!!!!!!!!

My AirFryer broke, so I think to buy this one. In my previous airfryer in a half of cooking time there's "beep" sound which indicates that i must turn meat or whatever i cook. I didn't see you turn meat or nuggets. Video is 3 months old now, so i can ask do you need turn meat in the middle of the cooking, or you just put meat inside and left till the time on timer is out, without any turning? Sorry for my bad english, hope you understand me, and greetings from Croatia

Thanks, I did the same I forgot to peel off the sticker too lol but the manual doesn't tell you anything so that's why I checked here. Its not too bad as my kitchen is part of the living room and I can still hear the tv ok it sounds like a loud fan that's all.
