Central Government needs to start a special mission to develop tourists facilities in Ladakh, North East, Daman & Diu, Pudducherry, Lakshadweep & Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Special emphasis should be on not disturbing the environment and building tourist facilities as eco-friendly as possible. All these areas have huge Tourism potential. For instance, Pudducherry can be Goa of South if developed properly. The Domestic Airport should be converted to International Airport and should be linked to South East Asian countries etc. A dedicated Smart City Mission can be launched for Capitals of all these States/UTs where projects can be taken up to build public recreational spaces, model streets, upgrade the popular markets present in their capitals to Western standards. This will again help these cities draw major crowds & tourists.

After 75 yrs Independence & 60 years of congress rule, Daman don't have any airport, SHAME! It needed a Modi to develop a airport.
